Less and less People Like it...

Well after eagerly checking the forums for views on NightFall before i went out there and bought it, i was sadly dissapointed, YES! I thought all posts were good comments on the last page then as i moved further and further along the pages there was more and more ... and more complaints, bugs, rants, even people shouting =O, what does everyone think?

In my opinion the game is probably really good, except the expectations were WAY over what the game provided, they should have held it back until November /December for Xmas and they could have tested all these little bugs people are raving about, what does everyone else think?

And please no 2 word posts of "0MG!!11oneshift! it sux0rz" do you think the game is good, do you think the game is bad, do you think Anet could improve,a nd last but not least do you think Anet did good on this one?

i dont think there was any expectations that werent met, and many things are much better than expected. everyone will take to it differently- and I think most of the compliants are due to the updates and not nightfall itself.. most is the key word tho.

Yes, obviously anonymous complainers on some web board are 100% correct. Why even bother to use your brain when you can just receive your opinion from teh intarweb?

like someone posted somewhere else, I think the reason there are more complaints then compliments is because all the people that really like are currently playing it(unless there at work or school or something) while the ones that dont are here.

then theres people like me that is waiting for it to be delivered or havent gotten it yet....

lol Greg people come on here to see each others opinions and actually no i haven't played it, stupid pre-order isn't even a pre-order, it hasn't arrived yet but meh i can wait. And Greg a forum is a place for an open discussion, open, not people just come here to moan at others.

Ive done every quest on noob island although I dont see how making this personal towards me (for being one of the hundreds of thousands of people who do enjoy it) is really what you should be doing. gg.

what eldersoul said. I love the game, but I have posted way more about its negatives. Human nature I guess.

I'm not sure if I like heroes and sunspear rank being character specific, but other than that I'm digging it.

these are bugs that they couldnt find and who can say if 3 more months of testing would have shown them up or not?

i can see you in december saying they should have waited untill summer 07 so it would be bug free.

The negative aspect of anything will always impact us more than the positive. Most of the people who love the game aren't posting on this board because they're probably still playing right now...

... besides that. I LURV this game, it's like falling in love.... all over again.

you really got to like a game developer who continually improves their games, ive played many a game and i cant recall any developer that put as much time and effort into thier product as Anet/ncsoft has done, Also they listen to thier consumers and heed the advice and suggestion that we make. This counts for alot in my book. An example of a piss poor Game developer would be EA and there bf2 series of games, these games are good, but if you think Gw has bugs and glitches you should try this game out, patch after patch has done really nothing to improve the overall gameplay, and to top it off the just released bf2142 that has all the original bugs and glitches and then a whole slew of new ones(trust me i got the game) So for those of you sorta sad and enamored about the current expansion, dont fret!!!!

On another note, i really like the skill and profession menu AWESOME, as well as the improved Ai for bots, the visuals are truly EPIC and of course the new Pvp setup cant wait to get home!!!!

lol i am 100% behind the idea that people that are enjoying it are playing the game and not bothering with forums. I have been reading the forums all day at work, but as soon i get home i will be playing it andwon;t check these pages probably untill monday
Plus i have not seen a single issue mentioned that was bad about nightfall, all negatives are mainly about update bugs and nerfs...

Im loving the noob island..its more interesting then the last 2 attempts they made in chaper1 and factions

The only complaint i have is that the halloween event distracts a bit me from the new world. Getting too much content at once here!

lol i'm at work to, but yah weekend = NF - Saw III. I'll need to take a break from that. Won't be able to pick game up for another 2 hours though... Com'on hometime!

Every games will have bugs... case in point.. EA and it's Battlefield series!

I'll pick up this game tonight and hopefully by than all the bugs will be gone!

yeah, pro evo 6 came out today too, 2 games I play a lot come with a new version on exactly the same day... aaargh.
