using a build based on the N/Mo Boss Farmer (NOT MINE, i can't remember who's it was, but i give credit to him/her/them and only him/her/them)
anyway, since SB got nerfed (well, kinda, it can't take on as big groups as it could before), i've adapted it to 55 Monk, works pretty good (you can drop a touch too, due to increased Spoil Victor damage and the fact it works right down until the boss is below 55hp (which a quick Vamp Gaze will finish off)
so, here is my attribute and equipment lineup:
Blood Magic: 12+3+1
Soul Reaping: (not needed for Shiro, but i just put remaining points there)
Healing Prayers: 8
Protection Prayers: 10
You will need two armor sets, one with NO major or superior runes on (and preferably a vigor rune, vitae runes if possible, and the +health inscriptions) and the other with 55 setup, 5 sup runes, blood headpiece etc. 2 weapon sets, one with the -50 cesta and a Totem Axe or something, one handed +20% enchant, the other should contain any wand/weapon and offhand/shield with +30hp on each, or +45hp while enchanted.
Skill Bar:
Spoil Victor (SV)
Protective Spirit (PS)
Healing Breeze (HB)
Vampiric Gaze (Gaze)
Mending
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Vital Blessing
OK, so, you start off, no need to cast anything, don't take the celestial skill, its pretty much useless here (if you really MUST take it, replace Vital Blessing, as long as you have OVER 620 health with the high health kit and weapon/offhand, you'll be OK).
Run down to the end (enchants end after cutscene) and after the cinematic, make sure you have 55 set up, cast Balth Spirit, Essence Bond and Mending (NOT Vital Blessing), regen your energy, throw on PS and HB, summon the celestial horror if you have it, and run up to Shiro.
Hex him with SV, and keep PS and HB up. Try to keep aggro on yourself, if he uses Meditation of The Reaper (heres where most people try to find ways to end it, why bother?), run to where you and mhenlo are out of aggro range, and cast Vital Blessing on yourself AND MHENLO, and drop the other three enchants, switch to HP weaponry set, and HP armour, now when Meditation ends, he should deal 620 damage to you and mhenlo, mhenlo should have 7hp left (480+147 from Vital Blessing = 627 - 620 = 7) and you should have the same/more than that, now let mhenlo heal himself and you, and regen up, and then switch back to 55 set up, drop the blessing enchants, put up the other three, apply HS and PS.. repeat.. until shiro is dead (if he drops really low, below 55hp so spoil victor doesnt trigger, just vamp gaze him to kill him)
sure, it's slow, but its an alternative, fun, and saves waiting for a party.
I'll get screens up tomorrow or later perhaps.
by the way, i have NOT had experience with Shiro banishing me, he may not do it against one person, why? i don't know, or maybe he does do it, just rarely, but ive not seen it yet, so, yeah
So, N/Mo can solo Shiro? and also adapted to other bosses

I've been attempting to solo him also. Last month. So, while I am impressed. No, no, no.
1) Solo means solo. Mhenlo must be locked outside the gate and not cast a spell.
2) No celestial skills. Player skills only.

Mhenlo doesn't have to survive does he? Why not just let him die first so Shiro doesn't get as much health from the meditation?
