does any one know if rubies and sapphires drop in nf?

cause if they dont, i expect ruby and sapphire prices to increase & if they do, i think ill buy a few for my new nf toons.

it would be a little silly to require sapphires and rubies and not have them drop in Elona. There ARE a few people who only have Nightfall... lol

I don't think they'll make Rubies and Sapphires more likely to drop. Some 1.5k armor in Cantha still require ludicrous amounts of Monstrous Fangs/Claws that are totally random. Vabbian armor seems to be an expensive "1.5k" armor that will require you to buy lots of Rubies/Sapphires.

FYI: You can trade Trade Contracts for Diamonds, Rubies, and Sapphires. So they will be worth a lot less when the quests finally activate for them. (boo I wanna sell 30k diamonds

i would hold off buying rubies and sapphires at the moment snce you can apparently trade them and they are bound to drop with an increased rate if they are used in low cost armour

rubies and saphires are much more common now. I had never gotten a ruby before, and ive been playing for 17 months. I got 5 yesterday alone.

Just so people know, there are NPCs that trade rubies and sapphires for letters later in the game. That will definately help with the cost of both items.

Yeah, I just realized that later as I ran out of quests. It would be nice if they would add in more. Maybe even a repeatable quest.

I like most of the new armors but.. having said that not going to buy any buying one set of fow seems to save money on buying lots of new sets of 15k to me

I agree with Griff Mon.. female FoW on necro but fissure doesnt float everyones boat

Endgame female warrior looks nice.. yeah nice and "solid" looking compared to that ugly 15k glads

playing tyria over 1 year got :
2 rubies
0 saph
playing cantha 1/2 year got :
3 rubies
1 saph
playing nightfall 4days got :
1 ruby
2 saph
1 diamond

bought rubies 1.8k at trader few months back sold them last days at 4.2k :P

btw diamond is worth nothing atm.
no use and trader says 160gold and 250gold if u hit the request button :S
and finally thinking i found something worthfull. (but i did sell a white dye at 37k :P)

btw anyone know if there are repeatable quests in the vabbi area?
Else u only get 21 trade contracts a character thats only 3 rubies worth.
I've already done all quests i could find there :P

Any idea where saphires and rubies drop in nightfall? Since I've had prophecies, I"ve had 1 ruby and 1 saphire drop... and I don't paticularly feel like buying them from the trader if there's another way of getting them.

There "sapphire" djins, and other gem djins monsters in that region where you can get that armor crafted.
