Tranquil Was Tanasen - Elite Spell. Hold Tanasen's ashes for up to 17 seconds. While you hold his ashes, you have +22 armor and cannot be interrupted.
10 energy | 3 casting time | 20 second recharge
Trapper's Focus - Elite Preparation. For 13 seconds, your trap skills are not easily interruptible.
5 (2) energy | 2 casting time | 20 second recharge
Which one?
Trapper's Focus or Tranquil Was Tanasen?

I personally like Tranquil Was Tanasen, because it offers complete coverage interrupt-wise, and i don't have to bug out the minute a warrior or someone attacks me. Plus Trapper's Focus leaves traps open to interrupt skills, wheras Tranquil makes it so they can't be interrupted, instead of not easily interruptable.

Yes but don't forget. If you're holding ashes you don't get the energy/heath bonus from your staff. So at best you would have 32 energy to work with (maybe a bit more with the new runes)

so true. plus you wont be able to benefit from expertise using that skill. and you dont want to distribute your attribute points to non ranger prof if you want hard hitting traps.

I'd have to say your better off with Trappers Focus (well, really you'd be best off with Oath Shot) but if you had to TF is 7/8e cheaper each time you try to use it. You get a max of 33 with basic Druids armour and i guess 37 with Expertise+Wilderness+Vigour and 2 energy runes. You'd be losing alot of energy.

Both are good options, depending on what you are doing. I find Traquil to be better in PvP, since once your opponents see you tossing traps down, you are going to be pummeled with interrupts.
Since the the PvE enimies are much less interrupt-happy, Trapper's Focus is much more viable.

Ahh but with Trapper's Focus you could still be interrupted, and if you need energy that badly you can slap on a protective stance and drop the ashes. Tranquil Was Tanasen works better, more armor, nothing can be interrupted. Trapper's Focus, traps not easily interruptable, notice it said EASILY interruptable, which means they can still be interrupted with Distracting Shot and the like, only affects traps, nothing else. If you have good Expertise you don't really need that much Energy, if you are very short on energy you can just drop the ashes. I find it works very well compared to Trapper's Focus.
