Ancient Armor is Ancient Armor, not 10k armor.
Primeval Armor is Primeval Armor, not 15k armor.
FoW Armor is FoW Armor, not 15k armor.
Those armor don't have differently priced alternatives using the same name, so saying 5k, 10k or 15k armor is completely outdated and uninformative.

Okay, I finally got the cash to get the glove & scar so I am re-posting the Elite Sunspear (15k) armor according to Livingston Standards.
Set is undyed (Grey), and the scar is REALLY hard to see.

That's likely a mistake on anet's part. Polys are 1d, so if the anet artist forgot to make it double sided, it would only appear from one side. Or maybe it's the angle.

IMO Nightfall has the best assasin armors, there were only a couple I liked in Factions but everyone Ive seen in Nightfall I like, I just hope the male versions are as good.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand this armour. Well, that's not entirely true. The armour itself is ok. The massive huge blades hanging off the shoulders and the forearms just...ugh. Those things would probably snap off rather easily, or if they're think enough to be strong, that's what? 20 pounds of steel hanging off various parts of the body? That'd get awfully heavy, awfully quick. Not to mention snagging them on doors, walls, limbs, trees, anything, everything that got close to you?

I'm gonna have to agree with Shadowbane. Some spikes or whatnot are always cool, but that's just way over the top.

aw cmon, assassins are masters of motion... the spikes are offensve weapons, getting a little scratch when getting kd spiked is the least of a sins worries.

[/rant] I do see what you are saying. If I were going to design a suit with blades like that, I would make them look at least half functional. They are a bit ridiculous, though at the same time they look cool. I think I would have to call it ceremonial armor or something myself.
And no offense, your armor may look functional but it also looks hideous. >_<
I think mine has the best of both worlds. Very functional, light, tight, water resistant, plenty of accessible weaponry, and it looks pretty keen at the same time.

this reminds me...I guess they aren't gonna make 15k Knight's armour (I mean the skin, I know about the insignias can go on the new armour) for Nightfall. come on, this is nightfall, wheres all the dervish armor? i've only seen one set and thats the early game 15k. am i missing something?
