Problem with Hero weapons

Heya all.

So whenever I replace my hero's weapons, their old weapon appears in my inventory. But I can't salvage it/drop it or destroy it in any way. Am I doing something wrong, is this a bug, or just an extremely annoying aspect of the game.

these weapons are the same as starter weapons, and starter weapons can't be salvaged, I think that is the reason.

If you mean that you give them weps of you and when you switch them you can't salvage it anymore (if this is true, not tested it yet) then I rly don't know.

Well, salvaging, that's understandable. But I can't even drop them on the ground.

The Hero starter weapons... just destroy them. They're crap on a stick, and worth less.

I destroyed Koss's machete right off, right into the trash can. It asked me if I was sure, and poof, away it went.

drag it into the little trash can in your inventory

Oh, haha, I always use the full inventory screen so I didn't catch that.
