Pink Dye

After the dye update, I can't seem to make pink dye anymore :/
I'm trying to get my ( Female ) Dervish nice and pink, though I don't seem to be able to get it.

I've tried the old fashion red + silver ( +silver +silver ) and purple + yellow ( +silver +silver ) but neither of those even come close to pink...

I'm trying to get it something like this:

Try using Red+White or Purple+White Dye.
Or maybe Red+Blue+White...

red + purple , purple + dye remover, red + dye remover ? you tried those combos ?


Onisuzume Im sure she doesnt want to spend 100k on pink dye....

but they dont really come close to the pink aera's looking for, i got more of a "washed-up pink"

note: tested on 15k kurzicks ele

Orange and purple always worked well for me; but maybe not so after the dye changes.

um i got a nice violet pink
purple + red
i wouldt go spending 20k for a pink dye
waste of money if u ask
another color that looks good on females is green + yellow

i always did purple + dye remover but i guess it dnt wrk now wiht 'gray' dye

Well, before the 26-10 update, red+blue+dye remover gave me pretty sweet pink on my 15k Ascalon armour. (Warrior's Ascalon)

Hmm, tried a few mixes myself. Here's the only three that came even close to pink:



The best is probably the middle one (purple + red + red), but even that's not great. Nothing with grey appears to be any good, it all looks far too washed out.

I heard white+red makes a nice pink, but that's a tad too expensive for most people.

Good luck finding your pink. There must be some mix out there that's not heinously expensive.

I've tried white + red ... it's about the same color as your middle one has

ah well....dye,farming,AI and GW all ruined.....

problem is that armors dye different, so there isnt a REAL pink dye combo ><

I'm afraid to get new armor now, cause I have the pink b4 the dye change. Guess i'll wait for white to drop in price a little, then try the new combos.

i can't find a decent dye combanation for metalic armour, i have to say i am glad that i dyed my males else armour pink before the update

My female ele, 1.5 K luxon dyed strangely the other day... Only combo I found close to pink was orange+purple+red...

Any painters out there? If the base colour is gray... what makes gray turn into pink?

What about Red+Orange+Silver/White.

Also you could always borrow or buy one white dye and try it out in the preview window to see if it worked.

I've found that I can get pink on some armors with a certain combination, and nothing even remotely close to pink with the same method on a different armor.

I got my ele's Sunspear a nice pink with orange + yellow + purple. That same combination on the 15k Sunspear wasn't even close. I've experimented a little with pink and other armors, but I can't manage to find any combination that turns out better than a dullish red color.

I know one thing that makes pink on the new 15k sunspear set for warriors :/ try it on your set. Black+red makes a perfect pink (i am bloody serious)
