Dasha Vestible (Lost City Mission)
Zinger314
So, yeah, how do you kill the final 3 bosses without Goren dying instantly? Pulling doesn't work, because Goren is a freaking Rambo. And 300+ Searing Flames don't help.
Sir Mad
I've just beaten it with my ranger. I had to play a supportive role to make it work: I went as a Practice Stance / Chocking Gaz ranger for the eles (and throw dirt for the paragons). I'd say let your heroes kill the thingies, focus on neutralizing them. Kill the eles first (especially the last boss), as the mesmers and paragons won't do much damage.
To keep the lvl 18 Leeroy alive, there are a few tricks. For example, if no monster is in his aggro circle, he won't attack. And as he follows you, just just have to stay far enough from the foes (yeah I know, that's easier for a ranger). Otherwise you may send you heroes/henchies 1st so they aggro and then go fight. That won't solve the ele problem however, that's why you need to neutralize him. And how to do that depends on your class...
EDIT - BHA would have worked better than CG by the way as generally you only have to neutralyze 1 guy. So if you have a ranger heroe, I'd say take him, go full marksmanship, give him BHA and make him manually use it on the ele boss.

how you get to that mission? should I already gotten it? i'm at mission gate of disolation

@Zinger: Pulling does work, do it carefully. You may pull 2 together away, which is fine, 2 of them together don't destroy your party.
@supaet: Depending on whether you pick Hero Margrid the Sly or Hero The Master of Whispers, you get send to different missions. Picking Margrid will take you to this mission.
I took the Master of whispers too, and haven't been able to find a way to gain entrance to this mission without cheating yet.
The cheat is to have someone that did choose Margrid take you there by opening the hidden gate to it in The Mirror of Lyss EA. You'll love the entrance btw

hmm...so choosing magrid gets you two missions?
for master of whispers, you get Rilohn Refuge, then you rejoin for Moddok Crevice .
So for magrid, you get Pogahn Passage then where?

I dont know the Master of Whisper's equal to this mission, but Magrid is required in your party for Vestible.
---------------------------------------------------------
I PWNT this mission with the right Hero's and henchies.
First of all - Your Hero-controlled monk needs to be Prot and give it /me with Power Drain. And Magrid needs to be an Interupter (Punishing, Savage, Distracting..etc. I even went /me and gave her more). Your thrid hero is up to you...I choose a Nuker with Searing Flames myself because it WTFPWNS EVERYTHING but whatever you choose make sure its also /me with interupts.
Going through the mission take out Rubies first (They shouldn't even get spells off through your leet interupts) because they do the most dmg if you let them searing flames too much, 1 is fine it only burns you but the second starts wild AoE pwnage. Mesmers are next because they have AoE with Surge and Rez Sig. Dervishes and Paragons are wimps.
AT the end with the three bosses if you can pull 1-2 of them apart by Flagging your heros above the stairs and pulling the djinns to them thats fine, but my build can take three at once. Set heros target to the ele boss before going in (dont just call him, theres a target button in the micromanagement screen for heros). The heros should pwn his spell casting and kill him, then kill the others at your leisure. The Prot Monk is for alittle insurance incase you accidently let 2 Searing Flames go off (like I said..first one..thats ok..just aoe burning...the second is where it starts to hurt). The paragon is a wimp. The dervish has 1-2 attacks that can do ~100dmg but thats easy for Mhenlo to heal.

I'm kinda wondering where the enterance is too. Is it near the waterfall in The Mirror of Lyss and how do you enter (quest or something)? I have Margrid now.

supaet - Ok.
Starting at "The split" where you choose Magrid or Master:
P. Passage - Requires Magrid then the story comes together again at:
M Cervice
T Orchard
D Vestible - Requires Magrid then the story comes together again at:
Grand Court
...
For Master of Whispers as your pick, just replace "Passage" and "Vestible" with whatever missions he had you go on.
Sai of Winter - A Primary Quest leads to here, don't know if you can even take the quest if you already did Master's path :\ Haven't tryed.
Don't fear though, You don't lose map unfogging potential for picking one or the other. The first "varied" mission takes place in areas you can already freely explore, and Vestible here takes place in an "underground" map - IE: not on world map, and no percentage for unfogging it.

I said I didnt KNOW if they'd give you the quest to get there.
I know that I picked Magrid the Sly when you choose which one to follow and I didnt take up both quests, and I cant figure out how to go back and pick up Master of Whisper's mission (where you kill Drought). Seems you can only do both if you were clever enough to take both quests :\
Which leads me to beleive its a glitch in the game that you can even choose both paths at that point (because you lose the chance to do so if I zone out after taking one)

So it is either a glitch or something that is going to come later. I'd suggest reporting it if you feel that you are really missing something at this point.
On Topic to hardness of this mission: Tried BHA, 2 Blight prots, devona, me (Paragon) and the Earth hench, died because Margrid uses BHA too early and overshoots the djinn... gotta have some creative flag work or just load my heros with interrupts.

The inability to take both quests is intentional. It's a choice between Margrid or Masters. The same thing happens with Jin and Sosuke.

You can take both Melonni's and Koss's missions too, later in the game.

I can also vouch that this is true, the second i clicked accept, Whisper's quest option dialogue went away (much to my chagrin.)

Dasha Vestible is beyond hard, its impossible to finish. Theres barely anyone there...and the djinn are overpowerd esp. Searing Flames, they can wipe my party out in a matter of seconds, I've been stuck at this mission for 3 days and have not been able to complete it. It pisses me off so much and esp When Goren runs in and dies.

The only hard part about this Mission is the end, where there are three bosses that can easily kill Goren, the idiotic bastard rushing faggot. It's much easier to have a second human to hold him back while you pull one boss at a time with a long bow.

i've spoken almost each vabbian guy that i found with the hope of find the way out.

I finished this on the first try with Masters. Just pull the last bosses with a longbow (well, I'm a ranger, if you're not, then no idea what you could try) and interrupt the crap outta them.
Even better if you give Margrid interrupts too. Mission was easy IMHO.

I found the enterance to Dasha Vestible, but I don't know if it will open without a quest. I was doing "Goren's Stuff Part 2" quest that led me there. I can give you the location of where the hidden enterance is later (I have class in a few). You can try and see if it will open for you without a quest, I guess.

You CAN get protector, you can complete all the missions with either guildies that chose magrid (or whispers) or by beating the game and doing the quests to unlock the rest of the heros. Then just go back to those missions and complete with the required heros in your party. This includes istan. The crevice is the only one that is currently buggy to my knowledge, but can also be completed with masters.

Perceptes
I got the master's reward on this mission on my second try. The first time I got completely owned though, not knowing to expect the wrath of the djinns. I was able to do it quite successfully by just bringing a boatload of healers. I brought both Tal and Dunkoro, as well as Mhenlo and Khim. Set up Margrid for interrupts and Koss to do as much damage as possible. I also brought Eve (I think is her name, the blood henchmen) because blood ritual helps a lot in keeping the healers going. Just keep an eye on Goren and if you see him taking damage, make one of your monk heroes heal him right away by manually clicking one of their heals. I have to say this mission is awesome, I really like the design and the puzzle aspects of it. However, I can see how it would be really frustrating if you are having trouble survivng and end up doing it over and over.

Christie - you can join a group doing the mission at Dzagonur Bastion and complete that instead. It requires the Master of Whispers so you will need to pug it with someone else, but it's a good deal easier and will let you proceed just the same.

It was actually pretty easy with a monk. Just keep prot spirit always on him and ur fine...

Fight them all it's not that hard.

Setting up Margrid as an interrupt ranger makes this mission really easy. Having Jin as an interrupter also is an added bonus. The way we did it was that we targeted the blue djinns first and set the interrupters on the red ones to keep them interrupted while we dealth with the others.
Prot spirit is necessary around this mission because of the Djinns at the end of the mission and Goren's wammo habits that always causes him to be targeted.

easiest method is to lure them 1 at a time with a melee hero (flags)
last time I did this,
- Magrid (required) setup as interrupter
- Koss for luring bosses at end
- random any class, I used Olias as MM
