Question about sunspear points on "noob island"

I brought over my Tyria born warrior to Elona. I remember during NF preview event the scouts near the res. shines they used to give this "blessing" so that when i kill certain type of mob i earn sunspear points. Somehow those scout wont give me the blessing when i talk to them with my warrior. They saying something like i have better task to do. Any quests or missions that i need to do before i can get them to bless me? Thanks

It only works until you reach a certain level.

It was the same in the preview - like when you got to level 12 the low level area scouts wouldn't give you blessings anymore.

That's weird, one of my guildmate did the same thing and it is working for him...???

I don't think it works at all for Tyria/Cantha born characters. Either way, it's nowhere near as efficient as farming them outside of towns like Nundu Bay.

Well as I said it was exactly the same in the preview you can only do it until a certain level, so I suspect he's lying to you.

I took one of my canthan chars over to elona, I pretty much wasn't able to do that much at the starter island at all.

You get all the available heroes there almost instantly, two quest that I remember I could do was the one where I get to pick the ele or ranger another was the command quest (LOL) then I did the quest to get to the mainland - you might be able to do stuff on the southern part of the island but i doubt it.

after u get to the mainland u startng getting the Sunspear pts...like 4 for every mob u kill that u have the blessing for...

besides that, on the mainland you also have lots of quests that will give you over 100 Sunspear points when u finish them...
Easy to get the 1K sunspear points everyone wants for that Title..
