Unable to login one character only...

My Ranger, Icelord Ulmo cannot log into Remains of Sahlajha, but all my other characters are fine. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? I get Err5, and so does Savio.

Yep. My Ranger at some point couldnt get into the Sunspear Base for a long time. I think some areas have some issues loading.

Perhaps my lack of funding to purchase Nightfall on release was a blessing in disguise, after all...

Oh, no, don't get me wrong, so far it's been awesome, and riding wurms is just about the coolest thing ever, but not being able to log in = ftl.

I still have about 45 hours of trial left... I just can't afford the whole thing yet, and I want to see how all the bugs work out before I spend what little funds I do have on it.

I'm not sure why Anet can't seem to release a working game. Things like this area lockout and the party split in Moddok Crevice aren't minor glitches. I didn't buy Nightfall to be locked out of my character a day after I started. Frankly, this is a *highly* unprofessional way to release a game.
It makes me miss the days where a game you took off the shelf could actually be played without dozens of emergency followup patches.

I hope someone from ANET is reading this, cause this is utter BS. I don't buy a 50 dollar ps2 game and expect it to need huge patches. I dont buy a 50 dollar PC game and expect major patches with all the Quality check done by real players.

I'm guessing it only happens if you log off in the outpost.
But this shouldn't even be an issue. There are too many bugs and glitches in nightfall. We shouldn't have to worry about loging off and not being able to log back in..

To add insult to injury, it's labeled as error 005, which is categorically disingenuous. Reminds me of the early days of UO, when OSI would blame their lag issues on player ISPs not the crummy game support. Of course, being able to log in other characters in other zones here, rather gives away the "oh it's your firewall/router-port/anti-virus/AOL" lie.

That's the odd thing... I finished the mission Gates of Desolation and got an error 7 at the last cinematic, after the "mission complete" screen (same with the mission before that), I guess because it was trying to take us to Remains. Everyone on my team had the same problem. We logged back in and were in the mission town then I tried to map to Remains and the game crashed again, without ever loading the town. It says my character is there though, so I crash if I try to login on her.

If you can, change your territory to European.. that supposably fixes it..

I was in the middle of the primary q after that and had jsut died by accidently getting out of the worm....so when i saw the update i got off tried to get back on and got realy realy pissed.
