Hi, i have a chaos axe i found long time ago in tyria. Can i put an inscription from energy +5 on it?

Pls help me

No, ch3 items only. (this includes cores found in ch3, Pretty sure)

Yes, because Anet said so. You CANNOT put inscriptions on non-NF items, because the NF items use a completely different weapon system.

To make money.

Btw you can use inscriptions on PvP items even if you don't have NF.

Apparently +5e chaos axes now DROP, but they are not inscribed (as far as I Know)

So there's no way to get an Inscribed Oni Blade at the moment?
Any news on Inscribed Fellblades?

since chaos axes are found in FoW and you should be able to reach it in nightfall maybe you can use the inscriptions...

You can get more energy and get something else. Having a 5^50 wand is fine, but a +5 en sword lets you have a suffix (enchanting, armor, etc) and gives you the energy unconditionally. You trade being able to attack things with your wand for that though.
