Quest problem - a fool's luck

At the end of this quest there is meant to be a beast you kill to get some loot - I ahve cleared the area and stand on the marker and nothing appears...........

Anyone else have this prob?

The Marker is alittle off from the beast, he should be near it though, it has on alittle islet beside a bridge for me.

Is there any possibility to make this quest automatically work?
I cleared the whole map for the fifth time now, and this damn beast is not at it's place (and yes, I have Koss in my party)..
I'm getting tired of this map now, so I'd love to solve this quest and then leave this area.
If there's anything new about this quest, please let me know. =)

i just did it 1h ago and the creature was there, quest done, sounds weird that it doesn't work for you guys/girls

I had to do it twice: I left the map after talking to the 'No Spine' NPC, and when I re-entered the map the quest was already marked at the 'find+kill keeper'-step, but no beast was at the green star, nor could I do anything new by talking to the quest NPCs.

Then I abandoned the quest completely, got it again from Koss at Command Post, and rushed it through with no problem (not leaving the map at any point).
