I dont get ANet.. Why make the heros armor and the henchies armor SO much better looking then the armor players can get.. Its not like NPCs can enjoy it ..

What I do not understand is with all the beautiful mesmer females (or males for that matter) we get an ugly fat one.

The female elementalists's armor also looks way better than the 15k Sunspear equivalent (looks like a reskin).

So let me get this straight... the only way to get new armors for your heroes is doing challenge missions?
That really sucks. I hated the challenge missions in Factions and I can't imagine they'd be any better in Nightfall.

They're not better. They're still the same. But the missions drop ectos...err... I mean 'Stolen Sunspear Armor' thingies that will draw farmers and thus more attention to an otherwise less than interesting feature. Those items are already selling for well over 20K, and I hear they're limited per character (pure rumour at this point though).

I'm really dissapointed with the Master of Whispers mystirious armor. I've never liked Olias, so I guess I'll just stick with the standard Master of Whispers armor

Question - Ive only done the DajKah Inlet mission - I assume the other missions that give other heroes new armor do not use the same - green - stolen sunspear armor token - to trade for that armor do they?
you can switch back and forth as often as you like - u just need to go to the hero armor npc and have him switch.
What I really like and applaud is that whatever runes were on the Heros original armor also are atomatically on the new armor too.
