Malice Black
Anyone know anything about these? seen people offer runs to get max armor for 2k but I wasn't sure if this was a scam or not.

All armor comes customised for you, meaning YOU need to buy it

scrinner
He means runs to get it. As in a run to the place.

I'll give it a go, if its a scam then its only 2k

Is this the Consulate Docks mission area you are in with the Armour Crafter in it?
Or are you in Kamadan?
Or are you somewhere completely different? ^ ^

Kamadan..people are offering to take you to armor crafter for a price
jackwooly
Hmmmm.
I know the max armour crafter is in the Consulate Docks mission area so maybe if they are already there in game terms then perhaps they can zone you there. I'm not sure. If you have the 2k to spare give it a go but if not I'd steer clear.

I don't think you can get there. Just like in factions, you can't teleport to a new area if the other person in your party hasn't been there. I think it's a scam.

Let's assume it's not a scam. Is this armor crafter the 5k, 10k, 15k?
Malice Black
Lowest I'd expect
Mortis
It's the 1k max AL armour. Not sure if you can run there though. Doubt it.
Kelsey Cain
It's very likely a bug
Haven't tried it, but it didn't take me very long to work out how it is most probably achieved.

What you need is a canthan or tyrian character who is about to complete the last past of "the time is nigh" quest.
Group with him, letting him be group leader and let him zone.
Then after he speaks to --- the whole group will be warped to the docks.
There you can buy your max armor with no inscriptions for 1K per piece

It is NOT a scam, but it is a HUGGGGEEEEE ripoff.
It works just like Ferrys to Urgoz/Deep in Factions, if you party with a person that can zone there, then you can go with them.
The same thing is being done in Sunspear Sanctuary and 15k armorer. See, the armorer only shows in Command Post once you've done a quest, but if you in the party of someone that already gotten him, and yall zone into Command Post, he'll be there - so you can buy 15k armor without having to do the quest line first.
[unconfirmed by me] In the Ruins of Morah outpost people are doing something similar, apparently 2 missions start there, and if you party with a guy that is doing the second one - It works - and you effectively can skip the part of the story that takes place inbetween the two missions[/unconfirmed by me]
