Extreme Isolated Lag in Lahtenda Bog

Alright, this is really weird. I've tried a lot of things, read over a ton of threads on here, nothing seems to help. Right now I'm sitting ingame in the Lahtenda Bog, where I'm getting upwards of 6 second lag. Yes, 6 SECONDS. I've moved back and forth between zones, tried different chars both in this zone and in others, and it seems to have something to do with the bog itself. Nowhere else do I receive lag, but as soon as I pass through the portal into the bog...well...

First it doesn't want to load at all. For a good 10 seconds it sits at 0% loaded, with nothing going on.

Second it'll kinda tick by, doing maybe increments of 10% - 30%, depending on how long the pause between each change is. Usually I'll load an area in a second or so.

Third, when I walk in, I'll walk forward and everything will SEEM to be fine, but my henches won't move, and when I click on someone or something, it'll take a good 5 or 6 seconds to give me the dialog box.

Needless to say its really annoying. I have 5 quests out here that I'd really love to do, just because I love running around killing things, but I can't get very far without feeling the pain of extreme lag. I'm just glad that I have a really good goup build put together, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get anywhere.

I've heard of a lot of people having problems in here, several people in my guild cussing it out, and I'm starting to wonder.

EDIT: Oh, that's weird. Just after posting this, I went back into the game where I've been sitting the entire time. No lag. At all. I never left the game mind you, never got any updates. The lag has just disappeared. This is really weird...

This type of lag is often caused by an equipment problem, often one router, somewhere between you and the game server.

Well, if you'd look again, I have NO lag anywhere else. Its ONLY in that one area where I have lag. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the bog, because I just got rubberbanded into a spot you can't even walk to.

Well, I've just finished 4 quests in there literally 5 minutes ago. One where you have to visit five places, the one where you escort the Necro to the ruins and then the follow on where you guide the ghosts back and finally locating that guy's Mother.

Not a bit of lag at all.

Yeah, I've actually been running now with no lag at all. Its weird. At first the lag was just fantastic, and now its perfectly fine. It all changed in the time it took me to write that first post. I'm actually rushing through now, doing everything in one go, before it gets laggy again. That is, if it does.

Yea, what seems to be about the same time you had it last night, I did as well. It was BAD...and I could not get rid of it...and it only happened there. I ended up rage-quitting and it was all better this morning...

Man I hate the swamps. I just henched the "What Do You Do With a Drunken Shauben" quest, and the stupid npcs surrounded me as we were going back to the Blacktide Den, and now I can't move -.- I tried /stuck and all that, no dice

I will forever hate these swamps with a passion...
