Realm Of Torment, Missing gate/elite area(spoilers a little)

Could be me, but there's a space missing in my Realm of Torment Map at the top left..

Maybe an unlockable elite area if you do all the masters quests/become protector of Elona etc or is just me getting muddled??

Im gonna guess it's the elite mission. Where was that challenge mission?

Well that spot is actually named Nightfallen Jahai... I'm not sure if there's an outpost there but i don't think so

There's an outpost there called Gate of Nightfallen Land. Just head northwest and you'll see a portal in your map.

Wasnt it the 9th gate? And it should be Nightfallen Land, though havent found a town there yet, since its a very annoying place to explore, just as every place in Torment.

I can confirm there is an outpost there, can't remember the exact name, Gate of the Nightfallen Lands or something.

I'm thinking there is only one circle on the 'M' map that doesnt have an outpost or mission and we might be able to find something there.

interesting, but how do you get there? (like, direction to move, and starting point outpost/area)
- for Nightfallen Land outpost
- for the Challenge Mission 'the shadow nexus'

The Nightfallen Land outpost you go out of The Gates of Torment and just head straight Northwest. You'll run right into it.

yeah thats right but i had some problems getting there but i died and i ressed at the right res shrine so thats how i got there otherwise i would have done some scouting but theres a quest that will lead you there though

dunno which one cant remember

Go to chantry of secrets and talk to the whisper guy by the locked gate, he says that the area isnt finished and ports you over, theres a statue or Kormir which acts like a god realm statue. I think this when finished will port you over to the 9th circle below the vortex and act as a portal to the elite mission.

If the gate was open then you would be able to see a statue of a god before the god existed, gg continuity.

I wonder if the gates in the Realm of Torment can be linked one by one to the circles of hell as described by Dante.

i still want to know what that portal at teh bottom is... there has to be something there, it cant just be an empty circle..

i thought it WOULD of been a portal to allow access to go get armor + greens.. but no

After you beat the game, you can get access to the goddess of secrets statue in the chantry of secrets. At this point in time, it does not look like Anet has implemented anything for it; however it may be a new UW/FoW access point? Perhaps when you enter that, it gives you the last dot?
