Well, I've run several people through Thirsty River with this build, which I found quite interesting. I DID need 1 henchie with me though (Alesia).
It goes like this:
Executioner's Strike
Swift Chop
Cleave
Dolyak Signet
Physical Resistance
Bonettis Defense
Ether Feast (yes, Ether Feast)
Healing Signet
Attributes:
9 Inspiration Magic
6 Strength
14 Axe Mastery
10 Tactics
Strategy:
Just run in and kill the priest, don't use Physical Resistence until you're well inside to avoid the elementalists, and when you're next to the priest, use Dolyak. If you encounter too many elementalists (running into the tower) just use Bonettis to cancel it out.
If you're low on health use Ether Feast / Healing Signet. I actually prefer Ether Feast largely because it doesn't open you up to archers.
It's just some weird build I made - it can successfully run the mission (with a healing henchie).
I made this largely because I noticed a handful of W/Mo's getting completely destroyed while doing this run, because they relied too much on breeze, and didn't have enough defense.
Constructive criticism please

What runes are you using?
Doesn't Blindness affect you at all?
You and the henchie monk vs the Monk boss and the priest, how long does it take you to kill them?
I understand the use of Ether Feast - reduces enemy energy and gives you health.
Never tried it with just me and a henchie, but sounds fine to me.
