hi there after watching the making of guildwars and seeing that your team gets alot of idea's from the community players for guild wars i i have just startted playing nightfall i have played the other 2 sets of the game. and thought of a idea that would go realy well in the game and something for your team to work on and would love to see this idea i have used in your great game. Considering the iron tooth drakes have such large mouth it would be great if they could pick up a henchman or a player and toss them to the side it would add a bit more realisticness to the game i believe or better yet if the iron tooth drake could pick up a player in the mouth and shake them around a bit like a dog does when it is playing with a teddy bear.

I just thought i would share this idea with your team and would love to see it used if any of your team memeber could configure it thank you.

and please let me know if you consider the idea.

Thank from dave.

I'm pretty sure things in guild wars cant go up or down, that's why jump command doesn't exist as action, but just as a emote

gw has no ... is it z axis, so things wouldn't really be affected by getting picked up. It's the reason you sometimes see henchmen attacking the air while on a bridge.

haha.. on first I thought you want a mini game that would let you throw the monster around....

anyhow, I would say yes and no. As GW don't have the "true physics", this mean some stuff (like a realistic throwing) would not be possible. Granted it could be added as an animation (like in case of the Bite-n-shake), but keep in mind that that would mean the need to add that animation to all character models of all proffessions. (easier way would just have it act as a Knockdown)

But one of the "condition" I do want is a Knock-Back. Where it would push the player/mob back a few step, bit similar to Knock-down. Of couse, it might run into problem with bump-detecting and such, but I think it would be fun and add on game-play strategy.

Maybe with the next chapter we will get better physics (like a rag-doll character)
