How do I take my factions character into nightfall?

I know its a newb question but I've asked my guild and no one has an exact answer.

I took my Rit to LA. Got the 2 quests from the guy on the dock. Picked up the Necro Hero. Finished the other quest. TADA! In Nightfall... As far as doing it directly from Factions there is probably a quest in Kaeining Center.

There's a guardsman who gives you the quest to get to Elona and the Sin hero quest. I believe his name is something like Guardsman Lipo or Frigo or something...he's just past Guardsman Chienpo in Kaineng Center. Hope that helps.

yea i found him, cant complete the quest tho, oh well

The quest isn't that hard - even though your required to kill group's of lvl 24-28 critter's.. the most you'll ever face at one time is 3 (unless you get unlucky and have to fight more..)

My advice for that quest:

- take it slowly. Don't rush around the map aggro'ing more than you can chew
- Focus fire! Make sure you focus on 1 critter at a time.. don't spread your damage around
- forget pugs, get henchies. I went with: Devona, Archer henchie, Healer henchie, earth henchie, illusion henchie & 2 necro henchies with my lvl 20 mesmer (with a crap build btw). I found this selection of henchies worked well to take down the critter's.
- You might want to consider a rit henchie as well, since you'll be sorta fighting in a small area when you face off against the group's of critter's, their spirit's could come in handy
- Did I mention take it slow and only aggro 1 group at a time?

The quest isn't that hard, it just seems daunting when you see groups on lvl 24-28 critter's.. It's easy with henchies though
