Unable to change char 2nd prof in towns. Can change Hero's ok.

Checked with guild members same problem.

Any ideas?

You have to open a profession at a profession changer for 500 gold to be able to swap to that secodnary.

Once you've completed the set of primary quests for the Command Post a Profession Changer will show up there.

Just catch the boat to Great Temple of Balthazar, profession changer there

Sorry had one of those senior moments last night, (they are lasting longer and are more frequent )

Dunkoro, at Command Post, has 3 quests which are part of the "Build the Base"

as you do each quest, more and more NPCs show up in the Command Post
