i just started playing i am in a guild but this game has like no real book manual to it so the quests i am doing are they just training?

very first mission or so is training, you are correct

Yeah, many of the beginning quests are meant for people to learn how to use their UIs, skills, weapons, and all the strategeries for playin' the game.

Talk to every NPC that has a name and you'll learn an aweful lot of useful information. DO NOT SELL DYES TO THE MERCHANT FOR 1 GOLD!!!
