Default weapons for character and heroes taking up space in inventory

Is there a way for us to get rid of hero default weapons? At the moment, I am unable to salvage, drop or sell these weapons. As a result they are taking up room in my character's inventory and/or storage. If there is no way, it would be appreciated that a way be implemented to get rid of said weapons/items since most of us will not be using these default weapons anymore. Thank you.

Drag them to the trash can in your inventory dialog.
