Skill template bug report. Needs fix!

When using a template on a character that doesnt have access to one of the skills it currently doesnt load any skills, leaving my skill bar blank.

But, in the game updates screen over at www.guildwars.com it says "If your character doesn’t have access to skills that were saved in the template, those skills will appear grayed out."

It doesn't work this way for me, and its kinda annoying

Can we get a fix?

Yup, I'm having the same issue. My pve sin doesn't have all skills, when I load a template with some skills I don't have yet, I get nothing. :cry:

i also submitted an official bug report to them... hopefully they'll fix it soon.

I am having the same problem.

this particular situation is to prevent the exploit that allows you to unlock skills on other characters before you actually unlocked them, because you load them with your template... This is a needed check and balance to the system as it is designed today. This is also one of the reasons the Beta skill pendants, advanced pendants, and various skill charms did not make it into the game cause there was a way to exploit it to get an unlock just by changing your profession while wearing them... even allowing Duplicates of skills in some cases... so at this juncture I would imagine this will not change anytime soon...
