So...has anyone completed Nightfall's Elite Mission yet? Has anyone even found it?

I spent a while today with a few people i know completing all the [Master] difficulty quests in the torment kinda area, in the hope they might lead to it, but it doesn't seem so (unless there's one we can't find somewhere).

Given that there's that hidden city where the cliff wall just crumbles if you happen to walk past...with no clues it's there otherwise...the elite mission could be hidden anywhere, though :s

Although, we thought it seemed like there were keys for the elite mission available in gates of torment...which made us think at least one way into it might be there. In which case it needs to be unlocked rather than found. Maybe.

So does anyone know? Care to speculate?

Congratulations. That's a link to the Search function of this forum.

However, as you can see if you try the search yourself, it brings up one NF speculation thread from before the release, and a load of threads about cantha.

I'm asking if anyone has actually, already, found and/or completed the elite mission from Nightfall (and if not, where they guess it might be / how it might be accessed).

If you mean Dasha Vestibule, there definately is a primary quest leading there, it's just that you only get if if you pick Marged the Sly and not the Master of Whispers.

I can with confidence say that the elite mission is somewhere in the realm of torment. there is a collecter in the main outpost there thathas a key that doesn not match the normal ones used for that whole area

I mean the One and only function that was of use the "find all post by user" function, is LONG GONE... so there is no alternative but to subscribe to literally dozens of threads if you actually WANT to keep track of something in this conundrum.. QFT. Absolutely horrible and mostly useless.

The thread itself is useless - there is nothing important in it. When the actual mission is found, then a new thread should be created..

Possibilities :

Protector title?
Complete all master quests?

But there might be more than one entrance i guess.

Complete all master quests? Useless it might be, but people might like to speculate/share ideas?

Complete all master difficulty quests is ruled out. As i said, that's what we did yesterday and it hasn't led to anything.

Have you done both of those, though?

Erm if u mean "Complete all master quests?" as in doing all the Mission to Masters lvl that is the protector of Elona title. If not what do u mean by all master quests? the primary quests? (as in the ones that get to to the next main mission normally)

I've completed all quests in the realm of torment, including the 5 "masters" difficulty. Still nothing. I thought I was on to something when I had to find "the hunter" in the realm of secrets and didn't get any way points...but no.

Did you get the "Gate of the Nightfallen lands" town then? Because I'm pretty sure thats where the elite mission might be.

I have a Theory...

It said that Grandmaster Elonian Cartographer title open hidden areas.

Could it unlock the Elite Mission?

Quote: I've completed all quests in the realm of torment, including the 4 "masters" difficulty. There are more Masters quests than just those withing the Realm of Torment. I know that I've completed at least three of them just upon the starting island. Perhaps ALL of these Masters quests throughout Elona must be completed as a requirement to open the area for the Elite Mission.

Another thing is, some of these quests only open when you've obtained a certain Sunspear Rank. So in order to complete all of the Masters Quests, we may need to back track through every area once we have obtained rank 8 (or 9, when someone finds out how to reach it).

I'm halfway to 9 and still have some sunspear quests to complete. I don't think I can make it with what i have left though. Basically i think you'd have to do just the priests blessings and bounties to get maxed rank then do the quests. I'm also and pretty sure you earn sunspear points in the challenge missions, which would also give you the warmarshal title, not to mention new spiffy armor.

I have 5 masters quests in realm (done with 2 of them), i think if i counted right, but i haven't done them yet. I also think max (lvl 6?) lightbringer might have something to do with the elite mission as well. I'm sure someone will stumble on it eventually.

Oh and it's *most likely* in "The Hidden City of Ahdashim", I'm thinking....

Imho, the entrance condition won't be something you can only get when you're doing the quests in a certain order. That would limit the amount of players available for that mission to almost zero.
I also think that the elite mission is simply not yet included. Various things point into that direction. The most important one is the "bug" in the sunspear title track. I wouldn't be surprised if this were the entrance condition and the "bug" is in place so we can't reach it yet.

It wouldn't take me by surprise to see the elite mission getting included in 2-3 months from now. Sort of like Sorrows Furnace. This way they can also say they provided content inbetween chapters, even though it should have been in the game to start with (like Sorrows Furnace). Anyways, we don't know for sure, i'm just being superstitious because they ignore the Sunspear Title Bug.

If you look in the Nightfall Manuscripts, read the part about Razah. Unless Im mistaken this is the one hero no-one has managed to obtain, at all. It mentions him being created in 'The Mists'.

Guild wiki...

'The Mists are the binding force of the universe. They were there before everything else and they are the source of all things including good and evil.

The Mists contain and connect the mortal worlds and The Rift, the worlds of the immortal gods and spirits.

Some immortal beings are apparently able to travel directly through the mist to step over from one world to the other, while mortal beings have to use special portals, such as the one located in The Tomb of Primeval Kings. '

Im pretty sure that nice circle in The Realm Of Torment that no one can reach will be ' The Mists'.
