Nightfall "Spam" Sword
Racthoh
As much fun as Dragon Slash has been, I've started to dip into the possibilities of the 1/2 second attack skills along with hero backup. So far, so fun.
Enraging Charge
Flail
Magehunter's Strike {E}
Protector's Strike
Standing Slash
Sun and Moon Slash
Healing Signet
--Res of choice--
Strength: 10 + 1
Swordsmanship: 12 + 3 + 1
Tactics: 8 + 1
A Zealous upgrade is required for the high energy use of this build.
The concept is simple; spam. Start with Enraging Charge and a Magehunter's Strike, which will fill Flail. Go into Flail, and go nuts with your four attack skills as they fill up/recharge. Alone, they won't do all that much besides a lot of constant really fast hits with the occasional +42 from Standing Slash and +16 from Magehunter's Strike. However, all of that quick attacking means abusing skills that would enhance a warrior's output becomes very interesting.
As such, I've stuck Olias (the necromancer henchmen you get from Lion's Arch) with Weapon of Fury and Order of Pain. Signet of Lost Souls helps with energy management a lot, even though stuff likes to die quick enough for Soul Reaping anyway. Channeling specced at 8, Blood Magic at 13, Soul Reaping 10 (I also use some curses so my other points are specced into that). I manually force him to use Weapon of Fury on me all the time, for 29% more adrenaline gain along with another +1 energy per attack... and we'll stack on +14 from Order of Pain to all of those attacks. Without the hero aid of Weapon of Fury, it becomes harder to use your two energy attacks repeatedly since they do have a 3 second recharge.

Well if Racthoh made it, it works
Seriously though, it looks good. If it really works well I might swap from axe to sword for PvE... now that I think about it, I almost never use my sword or hammer... just Razorstone... oh well.

Sorry, your thinking of PvP.
Great build Racthoh.
Great build Racthoh.

Nice looking build. I'll try it. Been running 5 en sword skills on Jin with high expertise and a zealous but this seems like you can get a higher dps. Not that the dps is was that high anyway, most of the attacks are less than +20 damage and hundred blades (which actually gains you en when used on more than 1 person). But Jin runs them at a cost of 1 en so it was fun. Will try out the orders support necro, though I think that running a MM hero is more useful in pve survival wise.

very good build. tested it and loved it.

True enough, you could always take the master of whispers as well?

Ensign posted a Orders/MM hybrid awhile back.

Im addicted right now to Dragon slash, to the limit, and for great justice,
using those consectively, i have a near continous spammable attack chain as well with similar skills but ill give this one a try vicara
most skills in this build are pre-searing or i dont know where i can get the skills so if someone would be that friendly to post the new skills for this build thanx for that than
and the replacement ffor standing slash that prohecies... big papi
bit noobish
switch to /mo and add mending and hh but otherwise nice build saw u useing it against knoll in gvg Zamochit
Very nice.
The only thing i would consider is having your blood necro throw mark of fury on any really high HP target you are taking down...another nice adrenal boost Witte Was

wow wonderfull build ^^
some one know a replacement for Protector's Strike in nightfall or factions? Seef II
Magehunter's is 1/2 second, Nightfall only.
If you are axe, it is possible to use Critical Chop, which is +31 damage at 16 axe, 1/2 second activation, and a gravy interrupt if you crit. But Critical Chop has a 10 s recharge, so you may want to spend time Dismembering for your deep wounds and whatnot. Racthoh, I just capped Magehunter's yesterday, and it is very, very fun to play with even in a standard sword build. If you have no other energy skills, and use Rush for your Flail cancel, killing stuff becomes an exciting race between you and your heroes/hench. ogami_ito
Magehunter does like +20 damage, plus if target is enchanted, it does not miss. If this is your only energy attack, I think that's cool as it will help increase adrenaline. Instead of a Zealous upgrade, take a furios upgrade to help charge the adren skills faster. Taking protectors with this to me seems too much. Yeah...you get to see yourself spamming attacks. But I would rather do Axe and take critical Chop. That way you can go like this:
Critical Chop > atack >magehunter >attack>Magehunter>Dismember>Executioners>Critic al Chop Skuld
^ Protector's Strike and Magehunters are both 5e. You really do need zealous!

Spamming the skills is one thing, the second is abusing other skills that you can place on your heroes. In addition to Order of Pain, I've stacked on Barbs and Winnowing (and for fun Infuriating Heat) which with my attributes is around +25 damage per hit on the target. The speedy 1/2 attacks, the two hits from Sun and Moon, and Standing Slash thrown in there... when all three of the +damage modifiers are in effect the numbers are fun to watch.

Basicly, he dressed Olias up as Asuir..
Dude if you want to play with me just say in alliance chat. >.> jesh
I'm not sure I see how you can keep your energy up. Sure the weapon spell gives you an extra point of energy, and the zealous mod.. is that really enough? I see Sun and Moon to help, but all those half second attacks.. =x
I guess Flail would help too.. Xaero Gouki Kriegor
Fun build *replaces healing signet and enraging charge with distracting blow and savage slash and converts to full radiant armor with offhand +5 sword for more 1/2 fun + useful interupts*

I like the quick spam axe version. Critical Chop is really friggen awsome. I don't mind 10s recharge because I don't want to go out of energy too quick. My standard PvE and PvP build is Evis>Critical>executioners. If I wanted to e-spam, I could go Magehunter>Critical Chop>Exectutioners>Dismembering. Also, Lion's comfort for the heal and Enraged Charge. Basically Enraged Charge auto-attack+ Critical Chop +Dismember= 10e, +30 damage, Deep wounds and a fully charged Lion's Comfort to heal you up.
Now that I think about it, if I go with swords, Magehunter>Enraged Charge auto-attack> Magehunter>Barbarous Strike>Gash = 15e, +80 damage, deep wounds, bleeding. Woah... And I didn't even add Final Thrust to that. A Leprechaun
where can i cap magehunters strike? and what are its stats?
sry my wiki is not working ~A Leprechaun~ monty123
If this attack hits, you strike for +5...17 damage. If your target is under the effects of an Enchantment, this attack cannot be "Blocked" or "Evaded."
