If it was Kamadan, make sure you check it well. The hat is very dark sitting in inventory.

I meant I was in the green circle since a there were people bunched up. I'll have to check again when I get home.

you missed the first hat by 50 minutes, but if you stayed from 7:45 till 8-8:10 you should have gotten one by now, every two hours I think, next was at 10am eastern, then 12.

wtf i stayed there for the event, had to listen to his dumb jokes, be around him, and he gave me witch brews , alcohol and stuff but no hat

Its on all day but I only have 2 possible chances to get a hat tonight before midnight as Im at work - as are a lot of us either at school or work.

So I can get 2 hats. That means the other 9 of my characters cant get one

I think its a bit unfair to make it so that 90% of the visits he makes are when 90% of the people cant be there.

^ Agreed. I'm at work so I have 2 opportunities when I get home from work because of the fact that it's 3 hours in between, which I just dont understand. If my computer crashes during the 1st attempt, that means that I can only get 1 hat.

It is possible to district hop and get 2 hats but it is not easy as the higher number districts fill up real fast as people try to get more then one hat.

I district swapped 3 times on each of 2 visits. Don't go for the *very* last servers or overlook foreign language servers.

Sidenote: I'd love to see a /festivehat command, which would work like /preorder - letting us spawn our "unlocked" hats in any inventory, at any time (customized to character). That would save a lot of hassle and allow hats to be obtained for future characters, without spoiling that "it's special because I was there" thing (because you'd only get the ones that at least one character was there for). Wouldn't have to waste inventory space on them, either - just spawn when needed.

Technicly it is three hats this year. The Male and Female Witch hats are different from each other, and then there is the pumpkin head.

I was able to snag both on my ranger the first visit. I was in kamadan got the hat and quickly warped to last D of LA in time to get the pumpkin.

I can get at least 4 hats today... if i can time it right! I can get my warrior both pumpkin and witch helm and both for either my mesmer or dervish.

Well, I guess its good to see I'm not the only one who was standing inside the green ring and didn't get a hat.

Good because its nice to know I'm not the only one. Bad because it sucks.

Not only did I not get a hat, but I couldn't see a damn thing the king was saying.

He stays for a long time, but only gives the hat in the last 5 seconds he is there...

I was in kamaden US district 2 at midnight last night, and I had to sit through 30 minutes of funky humor and 'Simon Says' games before I got a hat... :|

I was hoping for more of a 'dance off party' or something, rather than standing around with my fingers set to type in rock, scissors, paper, jump, flex, etc...

Typically he arrives a couple of minutes after the hour and stays for 20-25 minutes (very dependant on how many people slow him down by relentless clicking, which seems to pause the script).

Going to later districts extends things, though. For instance one session I went at 2PM GMT and was still plugging away at 3PM, having jumped districts twice. So it's worth trying a higher district, if you're within half an hour of "missing" him.

Just got my pumpkin hat and witchs hat, a kind guildy gave me his "buddy key" from nightfall so i could get the pumpkin & witchs hat on my prophecys only character.
got to love guilds
