thats the only thing i dont like about the witch hats either, it doesnt really matter on some chars, expecially if there hair style is in a ponytail or pigtails, or is short - but on the characters with there hair down, it doesn't look to great. like i got the witch hat for my ranger and it looks TERRIBLE!!!!
