Replacing Inscriptions

Let's say, you have a beautiful gold req. 8 Elemental Blade with a 15% hexed inscription! Yuck! And let's say you have a shiny 15>50 inscription in your inventory. Could you replace the hexed inscription for the 15>50 one?

Pretty sure you can just over-write the +15 vs hexed with a 15>50, just like any other mod.

No, you can't. You can only place inscriptions on weapons where it says: Inscription: None. Maybe you could try to salvage the 15% hexed off and hope you don't destroy the weapon.

This is totally false while at the same time being based in truth.

You are right to say that you can only add Inscriptions to Weapons that have an inscription slot.

Where you are wrong is that the slot does NOT have to be empty.

If it already has an inscription, then of course it has an inscription slot, and you can simply replace inscriptions just like you would Hilts and Pommels.

I've already done this with weapons to sell them...so dont try a rebuttal lol.
