Thirsty River Bugged?

I just did the Thirsty River Mission with henchies this morning and when I was on the last boss (the monk) It was taking a very long time. At about 12 or 13 minutes on the timer the Ghost in the middle said I had failed and that he would have to return to the mists without peace. At this point I was kinda pissed because the monk boss had about 3% health left, but then when it was dead I still had to kill a couple of the ranger guys which took about 30-45 seconds becuase they had some perfectly timed Throw Dirts...

So after I had killed everyone I got the bonus anyway (at about 13-14 minutes). Not that it is a big deal or anything, but it would be kind of a worthless bonus if you get it no matter what.

Anyone know if it really is bugged?

On a side note, I never knew that the spirit in the middle would help you kill the snakes. I always figured he was worthless, but then I noticed some firestorms going off with no ele monsters or henchies...it was the spirit lending a helping hand.

I don't know if its a bug or not (as I don't know when the spirit is supposed to leave), but I've seen him say that before and we still got the bonus as well (that was like in January 2006).

Anyway, I did encounter the non-bonus completion of the mission, only when the spirit died before he could leave. Once he was dead, the bonus was lost.
