Save skills with trial key?

Hi


I'm playing Factions since a few months and now I began with nightfalls (I do not own prohecies). Today I added my epic trial key to my existing Factions/nf account. There was no problem and I could simply sail to Lions Arch with my factions character.

Now I got meteor shower with my factions ele. Do I still have this spell after the proph. trial expired? Anyone did this before?

asked plaync support, but they had no answer for me

No one did that before? I think with factions came a prohecies trial key too...

You'll probably still have it unlocked, but you won't be able to use it.

Savio is correct in his presumption. You will have the skill unlocked for your account, but as you do not own the campaign the skill belongs to, you will not be able to use the skill.

It happened during previous preview events. People could unlock the skills for the next chapter, but after the preview event ended, the skills would show up with a locked icon and a message saying that the skill was only for that chapter.

The same "locked icon" will display for any spells you would steal by means of Arcane Larceny (or other skills/spells that steal or borrow spells and skills from an ally or foe) that are from campaigns you do not have. You can take the spell, but you can not use it.

As to testing the information regarding trials and skills myself, yes, I have; I recently enjoyed the Nightfall PvE campaign with my Ranger via the trial key system, and grabbed a few Nightfall-specific skills for him. Now that the trial is expired, I can no longer use the skills, yet I still have them unlocked on my account.
