I'm not quiet far yet, but I looked up guild wiki and discovers shadow army in NF garden and I'm like.... man this place might be profitable
If build is right and you can quickly plow through mobs, why not do speed farming instead of solo. But any one gotten shards from them?

they seem to be different fromt he fow shadow armies, skill wise at least. The shadows there don't even use ss. I killed a couple, no shards yet.

I think they are one and the same, but skills/drops change w/level of the variety of shadow army (i.e. the one in fow is the only one high enough for shards).

I don't have Nightfall, but it could be similiar to ToPK. Ectos drop there but it's a drastically lowered percentile. That's my guess.. Good luck

Actually ectos have a pretty good frequency in tombs. It's rare to do a run and not see 1-2... it's just that only the dryders and dream riders can drop them, and they are less frequent then the hordes of grasps and scythes.
