Annoying character selection screen bugs that never gets fixed...
2) doesn't save character headgear display preference [some headgears show for certain classes, some don't]
3) tatoos and scar patterns colors don't always show the correct colors after logging out
4) immediately after logging in, fixed position camera doesn't compensate for very tall characters [head is cut off the screen]
Nightfall select screen is here to stay for a long time, so please fix these annoying bugs!
Now fixed:

I notice it every single time I log in. As a single occurance, it's far less annoying than some bugs. But cumulatively, it's one of the things that grows on you. Grows like a fungus. On your leftovers. And then you don't notice it until you've bitten off half of it. Y'know?

I agree. It's annoying. Not gamebreaking in any way, but it is somewhat fungus-like.

its annoying when logging out and switching characters. if you have a lot of characters and theyre not sorted the way you want, you end up scrolling more than you have to. or you have to manually change the sort order everytime. if they make settings such as these, they should be saved!

The headgear thing annoys me quite a bit actually. It works the first time after logging off the character, but after that, it seems to put the masks back on. And the elementalist hats have never shown up at all.

My monk tattoos (Drok's tattoos, IIRC) also revert back to their default color if I use that character and then log out -> back to character selection screen. It only reverts back to the normal if I log in with another character or shut the game down -> restart. This has been bugged ever since they first changed the login screen background to the Factions one (back during the first Factions PvP beta event).

I also would appreciate it if we could set our own character screen ordering that the game remembers. I deleted a character in one of the middle slots, and now that slot is blank. It looks pretty odd with an open slot between my current characters.

Has anyone else gotten "The Scare"? You know, when you're using one of the added slots on either end and you log in, but don't see your character? Then you remember you can scroll your slots now... :P

I've only gotten "the scare" once; the first time i installed GW on another computer, and loading up my account. All my characters revert back to their noob armors...

Another annoyance is the wonky camera angle after logging in. Immediately after logging in, the camera is in a fixed position. If you have a tall character, the head is cut off the screen. Once you select another character, the problem goes away since the camera angle "auto-centers". This problem started during the NF preview, went away after it ended, and re-surfaced during the NF release. This is definitely a NF specific bug.

I could care less about armor not showing right, but I hate having pvp characters (mules) mixed in with my pve.

I always get the headgear displaying bug on ALL my mesmers (I don't like mesmer masks, and they're always there when I log in.. -_- ).
I find it annoying, especially given that it doesn't sound like a hell of a coding mess to fix.

I simply want an option to sort my characters by TIME SPENT PLAYING them. This would put my most active characters on the left.
And it would be nice if the interface *remembered* the chosen sort order and hat setting.

What pisses me off is that every so often, the order is reshuffled. I'm not talking about when I put the order on alphabetic or pvp/pve. When the order is set to none, they will randomly switch order every so often. With 14 character slots this is really frustrating. And yes, all of those other things you mentioned also bug me.

The reason that the scars come out differnt colors is that so many ppl have taht kind of armor that the computer gets confused on which color urs is and btw is it that big of a deal when u log on its correct color

Seems that with the latest update, ANet made your selection order at the character selection screen persistent. You can now set them to be alphabetical and they'll stay that way.
