Are Elonan demons vulnerable to any specific elemental damage? And do they have any immunities?

I was also wondering the same thing. I'm at the 2nd to last Mission, Then i suddenly crafted a axe with 15^50 20% Demons 3-1 vamp and customized. I was wonder if these Corrupted were demons, and what stuff my ele hero would do the most dmg

I believe they were vulnerable to holy damage (which makes sense imo..) Can we get a secure check on this by anyone?

Holy isn't elemental, though; I can't make a "holy" axe or bow.

Cold would *seem* to be the most likely candidate, given the nature of the beats, so to speak.

I'll figure it out when I run my elementalist through, but that won;t be for another couple of weeks.

True, but with certain skills (like heart of holy flame, avatar of balthazar) you deal holy damage and yes they do mad damage to demons

Weapons with 'Light' damage also do extra damage, though I don't believe its double damage. And you can always pack the skill Judge's insight, or the nightfall equivalent.

But that's just my two cents

/edit. I'm assuming they do extra damage, as they do extra to undead. Fire does not do extra damage to undead ( to my knowledge) but if someone could test this, I'd appreciate it, as I do not have Nightfall.

I would have tohught Fire would do alot of damage to demons. I havent been to the realm of Torment yet so im not sure if its a "Cold" underworld or a "Firey" on.
Demonslaying weapons coupled with heart of holy flame would seem like a good idea.

I'm curious, why fire?
Hell is supposedly a firey place so if anything, demons would relish flames.

Having completed the game, demons in GW seem to have a weakness to holy damage, not sure about light damage.

Depends on what you're thinking about. According to some its fire and brimstone, but if you read dante's inferno: worst place in hell is the frozen river Cocytus which imprisons Satan.

But that's just my two cents

Fire seemed to pretty much demolish everything but warriors and dervish. The dervish were moreso due to Vow of Silence than anything though.

Just to remind, all the demon elementalists are water eles, so I doubt they'd be weak to ice. I haven't noticed any significant fire weakness either, running a fire hero.

If they're water eles, perhaps Lightning? There's always that whole magnified potence when electricity hits water thing.

Demons do not take double damage from holy/light damage, if that's what you mean. I tested that on Oni in Factions some time back, and I don't think ANet changed anything about it for Nightfall.

Nonetheless, holy/light damage still does slightly more damage to most creatures than physical or elemental damage. That's why my healing monk wields a [wiki]Stormray[/wiki].

Judging from my experience with lightbringers gaze (supposedly 100 holy damage) these demons have armor versus it as well. I've mostly seen 50's to 70's when using it, and that was at level 3 lightbringer.
