Ok, so just a question if I start giving my hero's my good equipment to use, like Victo's axe, Ghials Staff, etc.etc.....If they get captured/leave or whatever happens to them throughout the game, do they return with the same equipment? I've heard people say for instance, when Koss gets captured and is no longer a Hero option for you until you rescue him, after doing so, he will not have his equipment that you gave to him...can anyone confirm this?

I gave Koss one of my good fiery dragon swords, shortly afterwards he got catured so had to do the quest to rescue him, he did come back with the same equipment that he left with inc my sword

I have purchased new weapons for my heros. I plan to leave them with these new weapons. Now I can't sell or drop their crappy starter weapons. Do I have to carry their starter weapons for the rest of the game? That sucks...

ALSO!!!! be sure to check collectors and see what they have to offer. i have 6 pve toons that are all pvp ready,.... but i needed an axe for koss (goren has the hammer) so i went looking for one. it cost 5k to craft one, yet there is a collector outside of ruins of salhalla (i think, its mission right before bone palace) that takes 5 mummy wrappings for a 15>50 winged axe. so for less than the price of crafting just 1 axe (mummy wrappings are 100g) i got 6 15>50 axes for all my koss heros. collectors can be invaluable for equipping heros.
