New Nightfall armor for the rit?

I thought ritualists were supposed to be able to get new armor set with the release of Nightfall.

Yet when I go to the armor NPCs, they are always empty?

Ditto for your other post.

Yes, there is new armor for rits. Check guildwiki.org out for more info.

Here's a link:

Check the Vabbian, Ancient, etc links for the new rit armors.

According to Guild Wiki, insignias only work on armor crafted in Nightfall.

Insignias allow players to switch the armor effects at their leisure. If I get a new set of luxon armor in Factions made, I can't use insignias on it.

Seems silly that we only got 2 new sets of armor and we can't access the Factions armor in Nightfall.

So if I want to be able to use insignias, I'm stuck with choosing between only 2 armor sets for my rit?

Insignias make a ton of sense. But not if you can't use them with the armor you like.

Insignias mainly duplicate the existing bonuses on the Factions armours we have, so it's not sooo bad. I'm thinking about getting a Vabbi suit, and I'll probably have exactly the same bonuses on it as my Factions suit.

I see our insignias are all dirt cheap too!

Yeah - it would be nice to be able to switch your stats if you needed to without using different pieces of armor though. I like the Insignias idea, but I think it should be a change throughout all of the games.

I like the whole mummy look; however, I think it would look better without the skin showing on the chest.

Here's my mummy:

Best looking Ancient armor in my opinion. The mask alone was worth buying the whole set.

Look at the New Rit Hero, he is wearing Primeval Rit armor. (same art style as other primeval)

So anet, please make a player variant of the (that) armor allready?
kkthnx

Oh, and while we're at it, complete the rit insignia for NF so it's analog with cantha.

Oh, and while we're at it, complete the rit insignia for NF so it's analog with cantha. I don't think it's going to happen. Insignias are NF specific as well.

I think he means implement the insignias so we can purchase them for our NF armor. I went with radiant insignia for my armor, simply so I can use it across all my builds.

And yes, I would love to see some primeval armor for ritualists.

And yes, I would love to see some primeval armor for ritualists. indeed.

NF has ghost forge (weapon spell bonus), Mystics (while activating skills), and Shamans (armor per spirit)

Factions has on top of those the Oracle (while holding an item) mod. Which NF lacks.
Why have they left this out?

And the thing is, if they can make primeval for a hero. It's only a small step to make it available for player characters. It seens they only do this out of principle. Like lots of GW stuff they should really just conform for all chapters, like weapon inscriptions. The only reason why not to do this is to press people into buying and playing NF (in spite of the other chapters).

Ritualists really seem like a dumped class, only suited as a secondairy profession. (vocal was sogolon, destructive was glaive...)
The NF rit armor is a joke (they got lucky on the female ancient though).

The armor designs are hit or miss in NF. Some designs are really distict and very original. Ancient & primeval warrior, male 15k sunspear ranger, male ancient mesmer, vabbi dervish, 15k sunspear female ele and monk are the (first) ones that come to mind. Very well done indeed!
But in contrast alot of the other armors are just horrible. Just look at the Male Primeval Nerco and Sunspear and Primeval Ele & male monk. The only paragon armor worth while is the FoW variant.
I can't help but think that it's such a shame that the devs had such a very very rich source of inspiration in ancient Egypt and the entire African continent and came up with "just" this for some of these armor designs.

Doesn't the herald's insignia give the same effects as the oracle's armor?

Odd that they would make a former Rit mod common. (allthough i don't think anyone uses it, heh)
Thanks for the heads-up.
