as u probably know after recent update uw farming builds changed. however rt/me vwk smite farmer works almost as well as b4 update. the only diffrence is u have to lure only 1 mob at the same time. anyway i still was able to wipe out all smites. but what i noticed is thier ecto droprate decrased dramaticly. b4 update i got 1-2 ectos per run and after update i get 1 ecto per 3-4 runs. i dunno if ecto droprate is connected to antifarm script or an made some changes because i was farming b4 and after update continuously? plz share your experiences and thoughts about this.
btw. does any1 know if antifarm script works on character basis or on account basis?

sorry if i didn't make myself clear. just to make it clearer:
1. before update i was getting average 1 or 2 ecto every run
2. after update i get 1 ecto every 3 or 4 runs (which is worse imho)
3. the question is: does anyone have similar experience or is it just anti farm code?

I think the UW DID changed...
When the Update didnt existed - Gotten about 2 - 1 Ectos Per run succesfully
When the Update was born - Gotten 1 ecto in 3 - 10 runs

First off let me say I don't have any facts to back this up other then experience (about 4mil worth of UW farming exp between my Necro and my Monk).
What I've noticed is that anytime there is an event weekend (like this last one) the drop rate in UW goes down. Chests on event weekends in UW are ALWAYS purple.
I have also found that about every 45 days or so the drop rates for me goes to @#$%. It last a few days to a week and then goes back to normal.

Bad luck for you guys :P I recetly did a UW run(Chamber, smites, unwanted guests) on my warrior and got 5 ectos, it's all just random I think...

I dualed UW and got 3 ectos just form the smites.
As a soloer you will even get more cause its not overfarmed now after the update. To me it depends on luck, 1 run you can get 2 ectos and the second 0.

Maybe your accounts are flagged? I before October I did UW runs and fot 3-5 ectos/run but then started getting 0-1 ecto a run. My account was flagged to my belief so I stopped. This new update came and I got 3 in one run, the next I got 1. I haven't done any other runs since. Do alot of quests/missions to lose the effect of being flagged. They do it to farmers.

To remove the effect of being flagged, do lots of missions + quests. More farming keeps you flagged.

Smites should stop dropping ectos altogether. Far too easy to obtain with smite runs. The chaos planes is where all the ectos are.

is it possible to solo the chaos planes or is it something you have to do in a group? I kind of doubt that it is possible through a solo build with it being in the southeast corner of the underworld but thought I would ask anyway.

i seem to have the same problem with green drops...i been farming ghail all night and im am at about 0 for 50 ATLEAST...seems to me like all good drops have been nerfed ..so no troll farming and now no ghail farming where else too make money! =P well good luck

50 in a row getting nothing means you have anti-farm on you...just go do something else for a while. **Yes** we have proof of this. No, we don't have proof that you can be "flagged" by the system. Apparently what just happens is that after farming some place a TON your drops just suck, then after you do something else for a while they go back to normal.

So you're saying you do have proof of "this"(being flagged) , but no you don't have proof of being "flagged"?

If you REPEATEDLY kill the first monsters outside of a zone, you will bring up anti-farm code. Anything besides this hint that displays on the screen is pure speculation, and I honestly don't believe in a flagging system.

Because the drops get really better if you've done some missions. I always get a gold drop and the shards/ectos drop earlier. But that's not the point of the discussion.

I have now done around 10 runs with no ecto drops on my w/mes. This is unusual since my drops were pretty much constant until recently. I have been doing some missions/quests in case of "flagging", however this has been to no avail. I am farming only smites.

Please then explain my apparent lack of ectos. I have no anti-farm code and I've consistently had no ecto. Up until recently I was averaging 1 ecto per run. Now all I'm gettin is residue drops. I've been trying for a week now.

under world is all bout luck, end of story, and if u are soling some times if u take ages in kiling a mob then it will be less licly to drop the slower u are then the less licly they are to drop...i think

It's called random drops. You'll have those no ecto runs and suddenly have 3 ectos in a run.
