What do I do next? (discussion will spawn spoilers).

Heya all,
I've hit a snag in my quest to save Elona, do I save Kormir, or go with the Master of Whispers on a demon slaying expedition, what are the consequences at stake here; is there any point in saving Kormir if she may die later in the game (don't know if that'll happen or not, but I don't mind about spoilers, so don't worry about holding back).
I'm sure there are merits to each choice, but what did ya'll do, how did you decide?

Well Andy, If your like me then you do neither cuz your just plain stuck.
This game has bugs.
I have nothing to do beyond the point your at. BTW I did selct "to kill a demon" perhaps you should try saving Kormir.

You can complete the game either way, and I believe the end outcome is the same. Saving her seemed to be the more noble thing to do, so that's what I did.
(If you don't mind spoilers, here's a big one: X SPOILER ALERT X
She won't die later. She's actually a key character at the end part of the game, but I suspect that happens either way, just gets explained differently, I presume. I won't give away more than that. X SPOILER ALERT OVER X)

Heya all,
Cheers for your comments, impatience and wanting to get on with the game has won out over waiting for more opinions. I'm gonna pull a Luke Skywalker and give in to the cliché of saving my friends (or in this case Kormir) instead of completing my training (or in this case, saving the world by killing that demon). It's not what Kormir would have wanted, but as the manual says, the Order of the Sunspears would fail without her.
I'll post my opinions of whether I made the right choice later, to help those who come after me to make their own minds.

Basically all it effects is what missions you do and what hero's you get at that point in time. Margrid= Ranger hero, Master= Necro hero. Which one do you want more? Also the Necro might have easier missions. I did them and got through them no problem, but a lot of people seem bugged.
Ninna
the questline, "mysterious message", is kinda poor
After you choose Magrid or Whispers, you have to do their sidequest
after you finish their sidequest, you need to talk to them (to advance)
-- they are next to you but it can be overlooked and you may leave the area without talking to Magrid/Whispers
this is why people have nothing showing them "where to go next" sometimes
go Find Magrid or Whispers (outside Sunspear Sanctuary where you left them) to continue the story and you will be all set

Question here,
I choose Master of Whispers and #####################SPOILER#####################
Kormir dies because I did not save her.
I do some missions then decide to help Meloni and save her village.
I finish the mission and after the scene I end up in Sunspear Sanctuary.
I pick up the main quest and it tells me to go meet Kormir
??????
What gives?
I thought when choosing Master of Whispers leads to the death of Kormir.
I know that she has a role at the end and she does not die but there is no explanation at this point of how she came back
Anyone?

Well I think someone still went to save Kormir, Margrid maybe got people. It's all up to speculation really. Remember though she's not dead, her body has been taken into Torment, such as yours but at greater cost (you'll understand that once you play the whole game, which I think you have).
Guildmaster Cain
Let Kormir do what ever she likes, doesnt effect anything later in the game.
For instance, I choose the Master of Whispers and in later stages of the game it appears that Margrid did save her WITHOUT your help anyway.
******* HUUUUGE ENDGAME SPOILER ALERT *******
Soon after you talk to Kormir again, it appears that she has been tainted by Abaddon and is sucked into the Torment Realm.
After you get sucked into the Torment Realm yoursel, you meet up with her again, where she is leading the resistance against Abaddon.
****MORE SPOILER****
After you kill Abaddon, Kormir becomes the new Godess of Secrets. Visit her in the Chantry of Secrets, in the future maybe she will bring rewards.

cool, thanks, I actually followed the quest and ended in the Bone Palace after doing the mission to tame the wurms.
One question though, I heared that when finishing the game, you get the options to pick up the rest of heros that you did not choose the first time.
Is this true, and does this mean that you will be able to do the missions that are only for these heros.
Thanks

You can get the rest in the endgame area. Some minor quests involved like paying something to somebody or talking to someone.
