The thread on black dye made me think of this...
What do you do with the dyes you find farming, etc?
Sell?
Stockpile for future use?
Discard?
Merch? (if you do, you should be slapped with a sword blade)
I hoard. Finding dyes is so rare for me (no way in hell I'm buying them) that I'm currently using a little over half my storage space for them.
Partially so I can see them all in front of me,
Partially so I can see which dye I have enough of for a full suit of armor, should I wish to dye a suit that color, or sell as a set to someone else.
What do you do with your Dyes?

Normally every dye I get goes straight to trader but since NF went live I've kept all but the most exspensive (black/white) I sold those to trader for quick cash.

I farm for hours on end. Slowly but surely saving up the dyes as they fall. Every colourful bottle of hate will contribute to our demise, a vibrant expression of death to paint the horrid conclusion of our pitiful lives. Normally stack them into storage, but seen as Anet haven't fixed the bloody annoying 'stacking' bug I sell them now. I'm out of storage and my mules are fully stacked with dye, so there's nothing else left to do.

I give all my dyes to a guildmate, she holds all of our dyes, she's running out of room to store them with the bug, there's no rhyme or reason to it - new dyes won't stack with new dyes, some will, some won't... It's crazy...

I sell all of them now, since the stacking bug. I used to keep Silver and Black dyes, but no use anymore. I don't have the room for it.

After a particularly grueling battle, I like to go find a nice shady spot somewhere and share a vial with my crew. They're delicious AND nutritious and really quench one's thirst. Except yellow. For god's sake, Don't drink the yellow dye!

Hoard em. I can't count the number of dyes and dye mixes I've used on armor alone. I'm never sure what I like best so I dye it one mix then give another mix a chance a week or two later to see which I like best. If I didn't get already have the dyes it would cost me a fortune since I mostly use silver and black.

sell them to the trader. I don't use dye much anyway. Usually I spend a whole day finding a nice dye for my armor, and stick with it the rest of my life.

Always used to keep them so I had a supply for armours, but as the new finds dont stack (any fix on the way before the double dye drop weekend?) They are now taking up too much room.

Keep most until I use them. Used to keep black, but now I sell them to others. Not a big loss, I've only had 2 drop since Prophesies release. Have yet to get any brown or white drops.

atm I got like 60 of each (purple-green-orange-red-... basic colours)
and silver and black are changing alot cause I love to use them on my armours.
I found 2 white dyes and sold first one for 15k and 2nd one for 10k, I am 100% sure they will drop even more and from that moment I will keep them to.

I use to just keep them all on a char somewhere, but that might change, if new dyes still don't stack.

I give them away in my GW Trivia games in Kamadan every night, along with a host of other items. Yes, all dyes. I've given away a few whites as grand prizes so far...
