"Talk" to Oink, a pig ( you can find him left of your spawnplace ). make him follow you and go with it to the village. Then one of the people standing there will give you the bonus. You need to find an Orrian book or whatever it is, you can find it in the river, when you reach the beach, turn left, up on a hill. Then turn left and walk in an alley which leads to the river.
