Ive ran -image once before, but now when i run it, it loads up the screen that says "Connecting to ArenaNet", the bar reaches 100% and then it just closes out. This happens in a matter of 5 seconds.

Intel P4 1.4GHZ
256MB Ram
Geforce4 MX440

The specs arent great, but ive run the "-image" command before nad it worked, so i know that it should work. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

sounds like you're decompressed and ready to go then, just remember to take out the -image on the path for the shortcut.

That is normal operation. The -image switch only connects ANet to download the game data then decompress it and then it closes out. You can NOT play the game with the -image switch. I have 2 shortcuts to the game: one with -image just to get new content and the other with the -perf switch to play the game.

Ok. Thats interesting. I thought after about a month of doing an "-image" command, it would need to be ran again. Guess i was wrong. Its just the first time i did it, it took 2 hours. Didnt expect it to be so short. This is normal, right?
