Buying this game off someone else...

Hey, a guy I know was trying to get me to buy his copy of GW, is there any way for me to check if his account is banned or anything before I buy it? Thanks guys.

It is a violation of the EULA to purchase accounts that have already been activated.

Beyond that, the original purchaser can reclaim an account he activated at any time by sending in the originial CD key and they will return the account to him.

Don't risk it, buy your copy from a legitimate source.

If you don't trust him enough now, based on your question, then just say no!

If you have to ask this question about the person...dont buy it.

Best and safest thing to do is not to buy it from that guy.

What they said about it being against the rules and ANet returning the account to him is totally 100% true. And since we don't normally talk about that kind of stuff... closed.
