This Build seems to work well.... I either use my sin with KD and conditions, a ranger with poison/bleeding, or just a grenths blance warrior as solo build. The war build seems to work against most melee bosses as long as they dont heal.

ok, I tested my build on a few bosses.
1) grenth balance {E}
2) crystal wave
3) teinai's crystal
4) obs flame
5) stone dagger
6) kinetic armor
7) earth attunement
8) aura of restoration or armor of earth (for high dmg melee boss e.g. Captain Mhedi)
max out earth attb and energy storage.. conserve energy until the health reach around 200-250hp after gb, then spam the 3 armor ignoring spells.
I used rajazan fervor and galigord stone scroll (1st weapon set)
galigord stone staff (switch before spamming the armor ignoring spells)
have a +15/-1 earth offhand as backup just in case you need the last bit of energy.

i farm deathbringer with that tactic and this build:
a/x
16 deadly
13 shadow
-deadly paradox
-enduring toxin
-shameful fear
-dash
-dark escape
-shadow refuge (not neccesary)
-2 open slots
well.... i run up, deadly paradox> shameful fear>enduring toxin> kite in circles.
pathetic that this build kills isnt it.
heres the rule: if the boss is a derv or warrior (some necros also) and it has no non adrenal healing, then you can kill it with this build.

Dabineh Deathbringer (Paragon boss)
Location: Sunward Marches, head out from the Sunspear Outpost, just hug right and he'll be right there
Build: same auspicious/riposte build as above
This one is a Drevish Boss
Riposte does not work on Paragon bosses they are not melee. I confirmed this with Eshau Longspear in Arkjok Ward
Eshau Longspear (Dervish boss)

Anyone knows if it works in cantha? I tried on 3 diff bosses like 8 times each and no green drops. The bosses do drop items though : white blue and even a gold on occasion, but no green items. Has anyone successfully farmed a green item in cantha using that henchmens technique? Please sum1 tell as i think im wasting my time here in cantha.
VitisVinifera
no reason it wouldn't as long as you are doing it right
Xiypher
if the bosses regulary drop ANY item, the hench farming is working, as they will take 7/8th of all drops, not just greens. if you find that the boss drops no items at all, ever.. anti-farm kicked in, or your henchmen are too close
greens take time, at one point the rajazans ferver drop was something like 1 in 25+ runs

I tryed this with Bolten, the ranger boss with a great recurve green. spawns right outside Kodash Bazaar with like 10 Heket mobs.
Killed all his mobs with Heros/henchies, but when I tryed to flag away henchies, he always follows them and forgets about me (even if he was attacking me), and he follows a long time -sometimes all the way into the area filled with vabbian guards and such, and once he aggros them..GG to you getting any drops off him , but what makes it worse is that once he does break off aggro if he does - as he is traveling back to his spawn point he 9 times outta 10 gets "stuck" on a building in the way - and you do NOT get any drops if you kill him in this "glitched" state stuck on the building.
Any tips?
ONCE I was able to get him alone (he didnt follow too far, didn't get stuck) - and I tryed this guy in various ways for an hour...

Try flagging your henchies into a mob and let them die.

Why not just use the wurm to farm?

I have just read this and IMO this is just cheating! It makes the game too easy. Why learn about builds, skills etc when all u need to do is get a full complement of henchies and go "Hack and Slash". No skill or finese required.
I think that this will be Nerfed so u should use it quick before u cant any longer. {Not saying I wont use it }
Actually, just thought of a good place to start using the Hench trick. That war. boss Commander Wahli hes right down the bottom of Barbarous coast. He drops a vampiric sword. I went there last night and couldnt kill him because he is absolutely surrounded by enemies. But Im sure I can kill him now. Why not try other Bosses like that - Sunreach, Ironclaw come to mind. These are bosses who I wouldnt try solo because it just takes too long or in the case of Sunreach are just too damb hard. Now, these are totally viable. This is another reason why I think it will be Nerf'd and prob soon.

Half an hour later I have a nice shiny new Scythe, his group is way to big to do solo usually. Told u it makes the game too easy.
look at the pic.

I think they will nerf it soon so the henchs will get drops even if they are far far away, you guys should farm as quick as possible so youll get the greens before the nerf
Curse You
I could use this to farm the bosses with big mixed groups...
But ones like Jishol Darksong, I can solo with a 55hp necro.

I've been getting a lot of greens with this method.
Traveled to Cantha, and farmed the heck out of the bosses there too

Ok, so I think this method is awesome!!! Being able to farm a wider variety of Bosses for their greens has made it much more fun and exciting which is what this game should be all about. But, I still think this is cheating. What I think Anet should do is, have henchies always take a percentage of the drops, just like we are used to. However, they should introduce a Green Wep Hunting Title. This increases the chance of a Green dropping for every level. There could be 7 levels, 1 for each Henchy in the group. So at the highest level the expert Green hunter will have what we have now. This will limit noobs getting greens thereby protecting the market, also it would give us Green hunters something to shoot for. Afterall, there is a chest runners Title as well as a Gold weps Title. Why not a Green weps Title? And of course if a Higher level hunter goes solo (ie no henchies) he would have an even greater chance of a green probably about 50%.

Good you took it back cause they WILL nerf this once the whiners start cackling... any time something that is remotely advantageous and wisely thought of ... *poof* nerf to ruins regardless of player enjoyment.
