Well, new mesmer skill at least... that I've tried...
...scenario - mission that takes you to the mainland. It's a balmy 84 degrees with bright sunshine as we charge into battle. Things are progressing nicely as we hack on towards victory. I get within range of a group of Kournan well up a flight of stairs, but nicely packed together, and targetting the nearest, cast ... Spritual Pain. Poof... yellow numbers float up to the sky showing the effectiveness of my mesmer AoE attack. But ho! What's this! The skill is recharged! Hit again. >Poof<. Recharged. Again. Again. Death begins to overtake my desparate foes...
Well, 'nuff of that crap... check the description... spell recharges instantly if you hit a spirit. I wasn't targetting a spirit, but one was in the splash zone.
Love that spell!
Anyone else out there enamored with a new Nightfall goodie?

I don't know if it qualifies as "Best ... Evah!" but my favorite NF skill is the Paragon skill "Go For the Eyes." Not really for the effect (increased chance of criticals, which isn't too bad), but when you use it, you can see your Paragon actually shouting "Go For the Eyes!" For some reason, when I see this on-screen, it totally makes me laugh and giggle like an idiot. I can just imagine these grand heroes fighting in the desert just screaming at the top of their voices "the eyes! no the eyes! Go for the Eyes, d***it!"

That was the first time I used it and actually hit a spirit with the splash... the result was surprising and I was almost ready to report a bug.
But, regardless, I enjoyed it. Real question is what have YOU liked.

The skill can't touch this, mostly because it reminds me of when someone is pointing right at you there finger is just floating abover your skin or w/e saying, I'm not touching you' it's even more annoying than actualy bein touched.. ehm basicly imagin usin then the monsters doing that to you.. >_> meh it was funnier in my head <.<

I use SP alot in PvE, it seems all NF rangers have a spirit of some sort

What I even love is the Kournan soldier's discipline: always aligning before battle into some kind of formation so that Energy Surge is guaranted to hit all of them

Fire Attunement + Mark of Rodgort + Immolate + Searing Flames {E} + Glowing Gaze = Lots of people burning for a loong time with good energy management. Finally Eles can do mass AoE damage that in large part ignores armor. Even if the fire gets removed, the recharge rate on this combo makes it easy enough to spam.

Or... you could just have two interrupts in those two slots, which would deal interrupts and damage (power spike!) as well, not to mention allowing the use of them on two different targets.

Healer's Boon has effectivly replaced Word of Healing on my PvE healing bar. I combined Healer's Boon and Holy Haste and got a Restore Life off in 2 seconds.

I'd have to go with Searing Flames right now, I simply loved using that skill until i switched elements later in the game. Great burning duration, great damage, and the ability to combine it with other skills between casts is great!

Searing Flames has basically replaced most normal stuff a Fire Nuker needs, since its cheaper than alot of the nuke stuff, and causes both the Burning and Damage you need on a 2 sec recharge (and the burning is FAR LONGER than any other fire nuke..)
Glimmer was hax during the Preview...but since they nerfed its recharge from 1 to 2...Its barely worth taking over the other fine Healing elite choices.
Rampage as One is the hax right now. Permanent IAS and Movement Speed increase for Thumpers that CANT BE REMOVED (it isnt a stance).
