i hate having to carry most of my hero equipment with me
if they added new storage tabs for each of the major items, it would make things a lot easier

I want an armor and weapons storage! Also, I'm for the dyes,runes/insignias and keys tabs!
I use 6 characters as my mules and whenever I want to play a certain character, I have to swap all those items to another character which is a big hassle ANET, give us more space!

Collectible drops, probably too many of them to actually put in a tab, but quest reward collectibles (monastary credit, imperial commendation, Luxon totem, equipment requisition, battle commendation, Kournan coin) are becoming plentiful enough to maybe warrant giving them a tab of their own.
Material storage tab was good. I don't get why they don't give another vault worth of storage whenever a character buys it. I spend 100g with my first character and get 20 slots of storage + materials storage. I spend 100g with my next character and get... well, access to the same storage I already paid the Xunlai for once. Why couldn't they add tabs for each character who has access to your vault? 20 extra storage PER CHARACTER. They wouldn't even need to give materials storage to each character separately, one materials storage tab is enough if you have 8 tabs for regular storage already (assuming 8 characters)

This is the one thing we need the most.
I've got 50% of my storage taken up with dyes I want to keep so I can see what my new armours look like before wasting money on each colour. Therefore I keep one of each in my storage to save me money. I've got 4 characters on the go atm and that storage for all those is nowhere near enough.

For the love of Ascalon, I need a dye tab SO much. And why not one for mini-pets, keys, etc...

I'd also love to have a tab for dyes as those take up almost as much room as my materials once did! This way I can finally put my mini-pets somewhere without it crowding up my characters' limited inventory.

1 account. 10 character slots (1 for each profession, yes i bought individual character slots when the option became available). I just can't take it. Sure, i could go mules (i actually have 11 slots = 10 char +1 mule), but trading and switching things around from 1 char to another when all the storage is full is just maddening.
One of my biggest problems is the special event gear that is customized to my character (pumpkin head, santa hat, etc). Getting these things ends up being more of a burden than anything else. Their are already 6 unique head pieces out there. And it can only be worn by that one character. How about this... a little drop menu by the head that will allow me to select earned holiday head gear. Possibly integrated with that option that allows you to display head gear.
My necro has two sets of armor (1 droks and 1 grotto 15k). I refuse to invest in any more armor in any future incarnation of the game until i have some place to put it. SO much for armor being a decent money sink to control the economy.
A-net, do you not see how improving storage in relation to these items can only serve to help clear up issues with the economy in GW? Certainly a better way than screwing with various farming locations/skills/AI responses.
Rather than making it harder for me to make money (which is frustrating in the extreme), why not make it so i am more inclined to spend money. Oh my goodness... i've sort of wandered to and from the topiv quite a bit here. But really, it all relates to the storage issue.
Frankly, I don't care how you improve storage, but please, do something to improve storage. Managing 10 characters off of one box with 20 slots is unreasonable.

Dyes and keys are so annoying to store and transfer between chars. This would make it much easier and save storage space in the process.

Atleast dyes and keys. There are not too many of them and they are easy to organize. Not so sure about runes, they are a bit difficult to recognize with small icons and stuff. Also there are too much of them. But hey, more tabs, more storage, hell yeah.

Not sure that runes & insigniae should have specific slots; that could get pretty crazy - in the same way that collectable drops could. There's probably over a hundred types of drops (not all of which have collectors), so I can understand them not wanting to put that in.
As an alternate, if they added dye & key slots, and then either let people put storage runes on belts, or gave superior storage runes for bags to bring them up to the size of the backpack, I think the storage problem would be greatly alleviated.

More storage space is ALWAYS good, especially when you're picking up a lot of stuff. The crafting material storage added in Factions was a really great idea, and I would like to see this expanded upon as well. It's very easy to burn through 250 units of certain materials, after all
