Hello guys, i want creat a new PvE char and i think elementalist is cool so i got some questions.
Where should i start? tirya or cantha?
what secondary profession should i choose?

It depends on what kind of Ele you are particularly looking towards. What I would recommend you to do, is determine what attunement you'd like to go towards. Do you want to be a fire nuker with powerful fire skills? Do you want to be an earth ele with wards and/or knockdowns? An air spiker? Or even a snare ele? A lot of people in PvE (not all), prefer of course to draw towards the fire attunement to unleash powerful damage. If this is the case,I would start in Tyria and collect all the necessary skills to make a good build. You can then switch between the two campaigns and cap elites and grab any skills you may find useful. With the whole nerfing of farming, you should be able to save some money by starting in Tyria rather than Cantha since a lot of Prophecy skills you can get as a quest reward. That way you pretty much won't have to buy all the skills at a skills trader. Just keep that in mind. It may take a little more time to level up your Ele in Tyria than Cantha, but to get around that, I would recommend to get a run to LA, go over to Cantha and level up, and then go back to Tyria. If you are leaning towards something else, take a look at people's builds, what is popular/not so popular and see where those skills are located (whther most are in Cantha or in Tyria) and start there. Makes things a lot easier.
As far as a secondary goes, I would recommend either Mo or Me. First off, you can never go wrong with a monk secondary. In most cases, having a hard rez is beneficial. In GvG, you might see an E/Mo which is good at spamming Heal party due to his/her energy pool. As far as having a Me as a secondary class, a lot of people (not all) use this class for mainly one of two skills: Echo and/or Arcane Echo. It's the famous Echo Nuker. Being able to echo and use a skill twice can be very handy in taking down a mob very quickly.
There are many ways you can go, but it just comes down to how you play. take a few minutes and head over to the skills section and check each profession's skills and see which ones compliment you the best. Once you get that far, the rest is easy.
