Did I miss something about the story of nf?

ok, I just beat the game, so prepare for spoilers.

I remember someone saying how well the storyline of nf connects with chap1 and 2. How?

Other than the fact that we have to fight the final bosses from the previous two chapters, I just don't see how nightfall is related to prophecies/factions. It did not answer any unanswered questions:

From wiki:

Despite the victories at the end, there are some unanswered and unsettling questions:

Will Ascalon fight off the remaining Charr and rebuild successfully?
Will the royal family and the Lionguard regain their power in Kryta from the broken White Mantle?
With the fall of the Lich Lord, what is the fate of the Undead Army, and will future Tyrians venture to Orr and Arah to learn more of the Tyrian nation's fate?
Will the Deldrimor Dwarves re-establish their hold on the Shiverpeak mountains?
Will the Shining Blade populate the Maguuma Jungle with the rebuilding of the Henge of Denravi?
Was there a more powerful moving force behind the Charr's Searing? What is the mysterious bond between the Charr and the Titans, and how are they connected to the Mursaat?
Did the Titans scourge the Mursaat from Tyria, or will the enigmatic race pose future problems for the continent?
What will become of the heroes' relationship with Glint?
What happened to Gwen?

So how does nightfall complete the story? Did I miss something?

First of all, no one said it was going to answer every single loose end from the Prophecies campaign, and secondly a lot of those questions already have answers... Do the titan quests and actually finish the story and you'll get a better idea. As for stuff about Undead army and crap, it's not really a big part of the story anyways... that's like expecting Nightfall to explain why Gwen started wetting the bed.

And Gwen died.

So can you tell me how does nightfall relate to the two chapters? other than we fight the two bosses?

For the love of god I hope you aren't serious. If you are - thanks for the biggest spoiler in the history of the internet.

Um if you don't have prophecies you wouldn't even really know who Gwen is... She was never even a major part of the story, and is quickly forgotten, except by those Pre-searing enthusiasts.

Some answers for you supaet...

1) We don't know
2) We assume so, from the Quests at Fisherman's Haven and Temple Of The Ages
3) Presumably, the undead army fell apart when the Lich died, but no-one can go to Orr or Arah, as it was blown to itty-bitty pieces
4) Yes, they will, as the Stone Summit's Leader was killed by us
5) Hopefully so, though they may choose just to live in Kryta, now the White Mantle has lost power
6) We assume so, as the Charr worship the Titans, who were controlled by the Lich. The Mursaat tried to prevent the releasing of the Titans
7) According to the Lich, the Mursaat were "Swept aside by the Titans", so they are assumed dead, though some may still live.
8) I assume it ended when the Flameseeker Prophecies were fulfilled by us in Tyria
9) Some say she died, though the appearance of a certain flower in Elona may state otherwise...

Hope that helped.

No, my question is not the questions posted on wiki.

My question is how does nightfall connect to the previous chapters and complete the story?

You find out that Abbadon bestowed the powers that the Lich and Shiro were able to use to cause so much chaos in Kryta and so much devastation in Cantha... Other than that, I must've skipped a lot of side quests, other than the Charr in the Realm of Torment and the Lich I didn't see anything relating to Tyria, and other than Shiro, I didn't see anything from Cantha. Although that doesn't mean much, I hurried through in a rush to get to the end of the storyline and was averaging 5 hours a night sleep until I beat it, so I could've missed any number of things
