Double Dye?

3 oranges that weekend...lame...just like when Anet screwed up the Elite Mission gold drop weekend.

I've played majority of Nightfall and only seen the odd blue and green dyes. Double Dye weekend was a waste of time. I know more than just myself didn't see a single dye drop all weekend. Goes to show how rare dyes really are.

All the double weekends, like the chest one for example never work for me.

That chest weekend I must've loaded 200K on keys, only to get normal drops (not even a GPB, this was back in the day of factions)

Oh well, I like to dye my armor gray now.

Over the weekend, I simply played through the storyline with my friends. The results?
One black, one silver, one green for me; one black for one of my friends.

This is the first double weekend that's ever seemed to actually work for us.

wow do you guys ever had horrible luck. on noob island i solo farmed most of the weekend and got 3 black dyes, 9 brown, 8 blue, 8 red, and lots of yellow/orange.

i found for the first half hour or more the drops were pretty shabby but then they started to pickup the longer i had been playing. also a few of the runs i would get a second dye drop almost immedieately after the first drop. mobbing large groups of bugs seemed to work great.

then again, i was farming the same place before halloween getting sentient roots and the dye drops seemed almost just as common
