"Go For the Eyes!" spamming
RandomEngy
Apparently even PvP builds go in the PvE builds forum... confusing... anyway, I've found this build to be a quite effective addition to a team:
13 Leadership
12 Spear Mastery
12 Command
1) Aggressive Refrain
2) "Go For the Eyes!"
3) Focused Anger {E}
4) "Find Their Weakness!"
5) "They're on Fire!"
6) Blazing Finale
7) "Stand Your Ground!"
8) Lightning Spear/Resurrection Signet (depending on your need for a res signet)
Use a rune of Clarity and "I can see clearly now" on the sheild for 40% blind reduction.
The main point of this build is that you can yell "Go For the Eyes!" on every other toss, or every 2.2 seconds, because Focused Anger gives you 120% more adrenaline. Your entire team will be crit-ing a whole lot and you get a boatload of energy from Leadership to fuel your attack skills. In addition, putting Blazing Finale on a melee character means everyone around them is going to be on fire. "They're on Fire!" means your team will take a lot less damage as a result. You can also put Blazing Finale on yourself to deal with melee on you. You're a hard target, and with 40% damage reduction in addition, you won't be that much of a drain on your monk.
In addition, this can allow other "Finale" skills to be used with surprising effectiveness. Energizing Finale and Finale of Restoration could be put on attacking characters to give them a big energy or healing source. Purifying Finale could keep your physical damage characters free of conditions.
I tested this in Hero battles with a couple of Rampage as One thumpers, and it performed quite admirably.

"GTFE" spamming is much better when done as a Paragon secondary, since certain classes, such as Warriors and Assassins, can potentially generate Adrenaline faster. Plus, having it at 12 Command is overkill, since there's already a 20% base chance at max Weapon Mastery.
RandomEngy
At 12 command, it's +66%. How does another +20% make it wasted? Also, on paragon secondaries you're not going to get the benefit of Blazing Finale or "They're on Fire!" You'd also be hard pressed to beat +25% attack speed 100% of the time and double adrenaline 75% of the time at range, for spamming it.

Well, you only need 1 Paragon like that. Your OP sounded like you wanted an entire group of Paragons with that build.

I don't see where you could have made that assumption. Also, while other classes could possibly spam GFTE, Paragons get the benefit of energy gain from spamming it, allowing them to use other higher energy skills which other classes don't.

The thing with GFTE is that it triggers almost constantly. You really don't need max leadership to get it's effect.
Additionally, I hate elites focused on gaining adrenaline. Waste of a slot imo

Well there is a large difference in hitting "Go For the Eyes!" on every 4th hit and every other hit, in both the energy you get from it, the total damage output of the skill from criticals, and the number of times it triggers the finale skills. I've played this build both ways and I really can't think of another elite I'd rather have.

It all depends on the build. Everyone is diving for command and GFTE builds, people are so closed minded that they still havent figured out that Paragons are easily as powerful as 1.5 maybe even 2 full monks.
You need the right build, and a VERY good attention span. Other than that it's easy. Still contemplating whether or not to release the build. People will figure it out eventually over time I guess but it would be cool if I got credit for it.

Random,
Thank you for this thread. I'm gonna give your build a few test runs once I've made enough progress in the game with my brand-spankin'-new paragon (btw, he's a hottie ).

Just release it and make the limited Paragon comminuty happy.
Although it's probably a refrain based build...

what kind of spear mods would you suggest and where do you get blazing finale in pve?
RandomEngy
I use a +15% when over 50% health, vampiric +30 health spear. Blazing Finale is first available in the Kodash Bazaar.
Mad5cout
I like this build and have a variation on it. I use command and spear only and focus on that. I use the GFTE and Find their weakness in tandem to spread deep wound all over the place. So far it has been working well. I have to say, I am dissapointed in spear mastery as the spear skills are really not all that great. The degen from the blood and the fire are not high enough. The cruel spear is pretty much usless one you figure out the above mentioned connection. Gonna try something new here soon.
Thom Bangalter
GFTE! synergizes very well with a motivation paragon, as it allows you to trigger the finales on teammates more frequently than just having the motivation paragon spamming watch yourself every time it's up.
Spura
Works crap with monks and Energizing finale, monks don't attack. Other casters do rarely.
RandomEngy
Well they can wand if they want a bit of an energy boost. And it's not preventing you from also bringing watch yourself. Mostly it's good for keeping all-burning-all-the-time with Blazing Finale and the subsequent benefit from they're on fire.

I tried this out in PvE (since alot of good PvP builds translate well to PvE). I found that once you get rolling this does provide insane [team] damage output, provided that you have several melee/attack skill team-mates. Here are a couple of drawbacks I found that may also apply to PvP:
1) Takes awhile to get started up
Without energy insignia and/or runes you can't launch Aggressive Refrain and Focused Anger immediately...It's 25+10e. This is more noticeable if there is a lull in the fighting -- if you can't use GFTE then it's tough to maintain Aggressive Refrain (the duration of your other shouts/chants is too long to trigger the echo), which means you'll have to eat that 25e cost again once fighting resumes.
2) Paragons in general but this build in particular is highly susceptible to anti-adrenaline skills. If you can't shake a Soothing Images or Vocal Minority (there may be others) then you are essentially contributing nothing to the team.
I'm not sure how much these limitation apply to PvP, and there are probably tweaks that can be made to mitigate them. Anyway, thanks for the build!
