Did heroes get stupid?

Is anyone else having problems with hero AI? I don't know what happened in the last update, but suddenly none of my heroes are worth anything. My healers won't heal, my nukers won't nuke, and my minion masters won't raise anything. These all worked fine before the last update. Same goes for my guildmates' heroes.

Perhaps Anet just made the hero AI equal to the average player.

When you say "My healers won't heal, my nukers won't nuke, and my minion masters won't raise anything" is that from their lack of skill usage? Or they're simply ineffective, but they do use skills?

Yes, I know you can manually control the heroes, but with the so-called "advanced AI" Anet developed, I shouldn't have to. And it's matter or lack of skill usage. For example, I set up Olias with all minion skills. No attack skills whatsoever. In a battlefield with a dozen bodies on the ground, and 12 in death magic, he has a total of 3 minions, and I had to force him to raise two of them. It seems now that the AI isn't paying attention to what's happening in the field.

Odd, I've got Master of Whispers set up as MM, and he had 10 minions in the first 10 kills (16 Death, obviously), and kept that till we zoned. He was almost too effective

I haven't noticed any decline in effectiveness from any of my other heroes, either. Not sure what's going on with you, but maybe the enemies you were slaying didn't leave corpses? Ya know, elementals and such?

Gee, here I thought that heros were specially tailored henchmen when what they really were were really stupid sims.

I was in the Dajkah Inlet challenge mission with corsairs. All raisable bodies. What I found odd is that yesterday he seemed to be working fine. Now he, and all my others, are suffering from bouts of forgetfulness. I'm about ready to dump my heroes and go back to henchies.

Well I can say the cast and cancel of spells is fixed, and with me they seem to be casting spells fine. But flagging a spot for them to stay put doesn’t always work.

I stopped attacking and pulled way back had to use the flags to call them back, but three of the hero’s didn’t want to listen ran off and got killed. Also been noticing that casters are up there with the warrior at times, and Master Of Whispers likes to run past the battle to the other side aggroing everything and run back.
