I've been looking over the potential of using D/Rt and I found the lovely weapon spell called Weapon of Fury. Weapon of Fury is a maintainable elite weapon spell. While it has something to do with adrenaline thats irrelavent.
weapon of fury gives the person its cast on 1 energy per hit. Using a scythe with a zealous mod. In normal conditions you can net yourself 6 energy per hit. Thats 2 energy per foe struck. This is good for making scythe attacks and enchants more spammable.
Discuss what you think of weapon spells and their potential usage for a dervish.
(While I realise weapon of fury is an elite. Please don't go of an a tangent about what you think of elite forms compared to this. Thats not the point of this thread.)

Yeah, I was thinking about stuff like that too. It definetely seems feasible. Now I want to get my dervish done and over to factions to test that out :-)
there is also that ritualist skill (forget the name) but it changes the weapon, and gives added dmg. Ritualist protection spirits might also be helpful to the dervish. Maybe a farming build? I have no idea. (gonna get flamed). anyway, it doesnt seem too useful for PvP though. You don't generally get huge mobs on you then.

personally i dont use elite form. They look cool but 2 minute recharge for a 45 sec benifit is a waste imo as is a scythe.lol but to each their own.
As for the weapon spells I can see some potential for a dervish. UNtil they nerf it i will stick with either D/W ( primary ) or D/N ( secondary ) and use them as dmg casters/ condition pressure.

Good thing about weapon spells is they don't effect how your mods work. Like illusionary weapon for example won't be removed acidently by dervish enchantment removal. Wailing weapon is also a particular favourite of mine, great for wide spread interruption on attacking foes. Of course warmongers weapon is perfect if you are primarily targetting support enemies like monks and paragons.
